Any wood or MDF would get crumbled on the back wall. I’m excited about the PVC material. It painted well and went up well and looks good in our bathroom renovation.

I really like them, make my house looks beautiful.

We use the PVC in all of the bathrooms. We find that it keeps its look better than MDF or even finger jointed wood. In my theory, using this over the lifeproof flooring and semigloss painted walls, seals up the bathroom against water intrusion into the walls. (Along with good caulking and a bit of maintenance.) None of our bathrooms were built with windows, so the use of a really CFM exhaust fan, this PVC moulding and the paint, has been the winner over the years for keeping the room happy and healthy. We actually used the PVC door moulding also.

Perfect for basement. Comes in a finished coating but you can paint over if you so wish. Also it also flexes a little so it can co form to non straight edge walls. Perfect!

Product exactly as described. It conforms to a standard baseboard profile, but easily flexes around curves. I'm using it on a late 1960s laminated kitchen bar, now moved out to the man cave as a funky gathering spot. As the pictures illustrate, it conformed to the curves perfectly. Please forgive the newspaper as making...I have yet to apply paint, but I'm hopeful it will perform as advertised. If not, I'll be back with a snarky edit.

The Royal PVC Baseboards were easy to use. Mitering came out seamless. It made the job much easier amd more appealing to the eye. I would recommend it.
