How much baseboard do I need for a 1300 ft² diner
To calculate the amount of baseboard you need, you'll need the perimeter of the diner, not the square footage. Measure the length of each wall and add them together to find the perimeter. Once you have that, divide the perimeter by the length of the baseboard pieces you plan to purchase (96 inches or 8 feet). This will give you the number of pieces you need. It's always a good idea to add 10-15% extra for cuts and waste.
Can this be run through a planer? It's just a slight bit wider that my door trim.
