Used to lag post to deck, worked well

Perfect for what I needed. Which was to attach and hold a 4x6 vertical post to an already existing wooden porch.

The SPAX 3/8 x 6in Lag Screw was exactly what I needed. I am adding a entrance deck to my workshop and the SPAX Lag made it easy to add the entrance deck. The lag reached three 2x8s solid. I pre-drilled the first two 2x8s and drilled a pilot hole for the last 2x8 and used an drill to drive the lag screws -- exceptionally easy.

Worked well for my bench.

Works better than the wood! Worked great and needed less than I thought to get the job done; as some of the ads said it held like glue. I do want to note that, depending on the wood you are using, pre-drilling is a must as it split a few test pieces (did go through them like butter though, so it is less the SPAX than the wood itself). I recommend this product so long as those considerations are taken into account.

I use them to anchor 2 by 8 boards to a tree for support for tree house. They worked great.

This product is one of the best products in used for screwing decking joints together providing strength as well as structural integrity...

I love the built-in washer makes installing these bolts quick and easy. You need a really strong drill to install these bolts, My battery operated and my three eights corded drill weren’t strong enough had to use the half inch. Watch out when it bottoms out it will twist your wrist off.

Used these to anchor 2x4’s into a tree as attachment points for a vertical climbing wall. I needed up pre-drilling about 4 inches and letting the lag screw do the work on the last 2 inches. Worked extremely well and did not snap under torque.
