They work well Light weight and very durable !!!

For the price this was very good, my contractor uses another type that the tube is already connected (molded) to the base. He said that it was more expensive but he likes it better, but this one did work.

I was happy enough with this product but a word of caution from a neophyte do-it-yourselfer. If you tamp down the concrete in the tube above this footing form too vigorously there is a risk that the concrete will flow outward under the base of the unit lifting the whole assembly (footing form and tube) upward. I guess one shouldn't tamp down the concrete in the tube too much or perhaps it would be a good idea to drop some heavy rocks on top of the plastic footing form before shoveling the concrete into the unit. And don't do this project late in the day when it's getting dark and you can't see what's going on three and a half feet down in the hole.

These things are amazing! Easy to use and sturdy. I even had a blowout (due to not using enough screws in the tube) and was able to reuse the Square Foot…came out great! I would definitely recommend these if you’re pouring footing piers.

These work really well with sonotube. Nice product. Very professional results. I made 22” long j bolts from threaded rods and put them in to hold dry bottoms and reinforce the concrete. Slick!

Looked like a good product but even though it says it meets code its didn't in our county so I didn't get to use them. One suggestion if your doing this yourself is to buy an extra to use inverted as a funnel to fill the others since you have to get the concrete down the small opening.

Concept is great in theory if you need a large footing. However, you have to dig a very large hole to get the base in and then compact, stake, plumb, and backfill. Less work to use a 12” form and dig out bottom to create larger footing. Better yet, just dig more footing than you need and use forms
