Need a fence repaired? Here's an option.
I cut the firm cardboard easily with a hacksaw to 16", then made a vertical cut so I could wrap it around an existing post. Then supported it replacing and packing the dirt at the outside circumference, then filled the inside with QUICKRETE. My first time, I took my time, and saved a lot of money on a repair job. By the way, our previous repair job gets a thumbs DOWN! But I'm retired and still learning. Also used some inexpensive strong ties.

Perfect for what we needed. We have had a lot...
Perfect for what we needed. We have had a lot of windy days this early spring and the 6 inch pillars of concrete our back porch awning is sitting on just could not withstand it. One of them was cracked and ready to break, but we used the forms to reinforce the pillars and expand them to 12 inches which should strengthen the pillars enough to hold up for a long time to come.
