The only thing I would improve upon is the ability to turn on & start the dryer remotely. The machine itself looks gorgeous in my laundry room!

I love how it connects to the washer and will recommend a specific drying option depending on how you washed your laundry. Being able to check the status of your laundry on your phone is a huge plus as well. 5/5!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smart Dial Electric Dryer with SuperSpeed Dry compliments my washer machine very well. The control panel is easy to use and the dial is easy to handle. We’ve been able to dry a full load in 30min! This has been a big help when we have plenty of loads to finish. I love that the dryer has an odor refresh, wrinkle away, and antistatic cycle. The SmartThings app is my favorite feature. I’m able to receive notifications when the cycle has ended. I can even start or stop the drying right from the app. I now no longer need to go downstairs to check the dryer time! We highly recommend this dryer and its matching washer. They are a good upgrade to any set.

We enjoyed how easy it was to install, it was extremely easy to connect with the app. So far it works perfectly and we are enjoying it.

The two units work great togethe and we're very happy with the purchase. The steam function works very well for when you do your laundry but don't fold or hang in time to avoid wrinkeled clothes. Just pop them in for 20-30 minutes and they come out looking great! Overall these are beautiful and functional units that work great together. I highly reommend them if you are in the market for a new set of high-end appliances.

Thanks to this dryer, I've been able to tell my local dry cleaner that his services are no longer needed, because I just use the Wrinkles Away Cycle in this dryer. I'm a huge fan of the size of this machine as well. It can fit a huge amount of clothing. With my previous dryer, I used to have to do multiple loads. I can fit everything into this one. Lastly, I appreciate the reminder that the dryer gives me to clean out the lint. My favorite experience using this Samsung dryer has been scheduling the start of a cycle through the Smart Things app. I don't even have to be home to get it started! As an owner and power user of this Samsung Dryer, I can confidently say that it's next level technology.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We Love this dryer. It is so awesome. It is very quiet. Like the washer this dryer has a multiple settings for multiple types of loads. It can be used for white loads as well as heavy loads like bedding. This dryer does communicate with the washer. It will know what the load that is going into it is and the required drying time that will be needed. You can also manually set the timer for whatever amount of time you believe you need to dry what the load you placed into it would require. We love that it has a light for the dryer too. It does have a lint filter clean reminder too. The dryer can connect to your wireless devices via the Samsung Smart things app. You can get notifications when your laundry is complete.

The different settings allows you to chose how you dry your items. We had a funeral we were attending and used the perm press about 30 mins prior to leaving and it worked wonders. I love this dryer and recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When buying the new washer machine, we decided that the dryer will be a good companion and we were right. It does the job with flying colors. The capacity to recommend the right amount of time with he right amount of temperature his unbelievable. it has a really large capacity and it fast, way faster than my old dryer. It looks great and with the WF50A8800AV washer machine they do a great tandem, really hard to beat. I will recommend it!

The add on to previous purchase is SmartThings integration which alerts me when the cycle is done. The dryer is quiet and usually gets the cloths dry, however for some laid the wet sensor ends the cycle prematurely

Used ONE time stopped working after will power on and not do anything been more than twenty four hours home depot wont do anything and samsung said THREE WEEKS to get a tech out to service a BRAND NEW APPLIANCE

They have a built in AI that communicates what was washer\d so the dryer can optimize the dry time for the load.... Love that! I also love that the washer and dryer have a fast cycle that allows us to wash and dry a load of laundry in under an hour, a game changer for a large family of active children! The unit comes with a drying table for sweaters and other delicates, makes a huge difference and allows me to dry so many items I never would have before. I also like that this dryer is super quiet, it doesn't sound like its always about to take off for the moon! If you are in the market I would highly recommend this unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recent buyer of the Samsung 5.0 cu. ft. Extra-Large Capacity Smart Dial Front Load Washer with OptiWash™ and Samsung 7.5 cu. ft. Smart Dial Electric Dryer with Super Speed Dry (WF50A8800AV & DVE50A8800V). After arrival I felt like I had just received a laundry set of the future. Once I hit the power button, the machine clearly explained the set up and various features. I love the different modes for different loads, especially the bedding mode. I love the steam sanitizer feature most of all. Our clothes and linens feel soft, if not better than when we first purchased them! Everything comes out so soft and fresh. I am amazed at the fact that I can control my both washer and dryer from my alexa device, phone or from the washer alone. The dryer has a removable rack that I am able to place tennis shoes on. The washer and dryer both have a nice sleek and slim design. Its like doing laundry at a luxurious laundromat. My only negative would be that this particular model seems smaller than my older set, in terms of how much it can hold. In my opinion it was worth the money.

My samsung dryer totally kicks butt,it is seriously the best dryer by far,I have owned 3 samsung dryers and they just keep getting better and better, I highly recommend this dryer its so awesome seriously 5 stars without a doubt

It is huge inside 7.5 cu. ft, but it has the same outside size as my old dryer. it is fast, you have different preset cycles, for linens, cotton, towels, clothes in general. You get an accessory to dry shoes or caps so no more tennis shoes opening your door while in the machine!!!! You can control it with the app and get notifications when the cycle is over. I have lots of shirts and like to use the function that reduces the wrinkles (it work great) I recommend this dryer, you won’t regret.

I like that you can turn on smart controls and schedule a delayed start to your laundry. -I also like that the dryer will not run a full cycle, like a full 30 minutes if your clothes are dry in 20. this helps it conserve electricity. -I also like that there is a dryer light, pretty cool feature.  -I like the feature of the child lock to prevent a kid from opening the dryer and climbing in. - also like how there are different settings for different laundry, like a setting for towels and a setting for bedding like sheets and blankets. -Speaking of bedding I love the size of the dryer. King sized bedding is no probplem for this dryer. It handled a sheet set, 2 blankets and 4 pillow cases all at once. Now that is awesome. -One thing that needs a liitle work is the touch screen area is a little sensitive and kind of annoying when you may have a storage/cabinants for say dryer sheets above the dryer if you happen to lean against the edge of the dryer by the touch area you may alter or even turn off your dryer.

Our old dryer was about 4 years old but let me tell you the technology has improved leaps and bounds over our old unit. Build quality is amazing. Solid and looks like a million bucks in the black color way. We paired the washer and dryer with the matching pedestal and couldn’t be happier. Dryer includes a QR code on the door that helps automatically set up the unit in the Samsung SmartThings app and even registers the unit for you with Samsung. The app is very helpful, it alerts you when a load is completed on any connected device. I have it set up to alert my smart watch and any connected device so I even had an alert pop up on my smart tv! This unit also has an AI assistant built in that will help optimize your dry cycle. It will also communicate with your washer to let it know what the best drying cycle is for the load! No more guessing. This unit comes with a large load capacity so you can dry more at one time. Super helpful with 3 young kids. Last feature I wanted to mention that we love is the 1 hour wash and dry setting. You can have the washer and dryer optimize the cycle to get everything done in under and hour. Love it. We highly recommend this unit and it’s matching washer. You won’t go wrong picking this amazing unit.

I'm trying to figure out if this dryer will cook for me also lol. This dryer links to Smarthings app and I can see time remaining in the dryer, and I get a notification on my phone. This dryer is amazing. I can choose the cycle, speed, load type, and so much more. Normally I use the permanent press cycle, but I've also customized a drying cycle for my specific preferences. This Samsung dryer also comes with a rack to handle items like shoes. Another favorite feature is the steam sanitize+, perfect to sanitize laundry. The dryer is quiet, easy to remove the lint, and very big, great for big loads like my heavy blankets. Our previous dryer was excellent also, but this new Samsung has a better color and also features the CLEAN GUARD technology. This may be the best dryer available, but definitely the best I've owned thus far.
