They are a bit bigger than a standard 3/8 bolt due to the raised threads and would not fit thru the predrilled 3/8 holes in my sliding gate track. I didn't want to have to drill out 40 holes in the track and mess up the galvanizing, so I returned them and bought 1/4" Strong-Tie Titen HD screw anchors instead. The end result looks nice and works perfect.

Great lag bolt. Screwed into concrete like butter. Very strong and durable.

Great alternative to the drive wedge bolts. Liked that I could back it out and drive it back in again. Not sure why the 6.5" were cheaper than the 5" so I just drilled the hole deeper and saved some money.
