Poor quality fittings

After only 3 months of light garden use the end of the hose came off - very disappointed for the lack of value from such an expensive hose.

Fittings failed within a year.

Purchased last spring. Fittings on both ends failed this spring. Don't recommend. Normally I love Stanley products, but they dropped the ball on the quality control on this one.

i just bought this piece of crap,threw a better one in the garbage yesterday,the tangles and kinks are insane,you straightened out two kinks then you have 1/2 dozen more,I have never been so upset with a stanley product like this piece of junk,$`120.00 wasted. DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE .

Disappointed

I bought this hose hoping it would be as good as all the other Stanley products I own and use on a regular basis. Needless to say it fell way short of my expectations. Less than 4 months after purchase it sprang 3 leaks in the hose itself. Should’ve payed the extra for the Goodyear hose.

Leaking

Well, I have developed a leak at the metal end. The hose is still holding up very well. for the cost of this product compared to the use I got out of it I feel disappointed. Of course, the warranty information is not available on the product web page.

Hose came apart

Same issue as others. The reason I liked this hose was how it had the “handle” to grip when screwing on and off sprinkler and nozzle but that came apart.

end blows off

the hose material is great in that it’s it very flexible and doesn’t kink, but I’ve had two of these now and both blew the end connector off. The second time no one was watching and it sprayed water out the spigot for two hours.

The hose is nice and long, but does kink pretty easily. Also, the design of the ends means that if you put it on a winding hose handler, it leaks a lot.

Stanley Fatmax hose

We have had our hose for one year and just had the same problem as others on this site. The connecter blew off. Not sure if it can be fixed. Otherwise like the hose.

Great until the end blows off

Had the hose for about 2 months which worked great (no kinks, etc), then the end of the hose blew off. Seems like it's an issue by looking at the reviews below. Hoping I can get some support/reimbursement under warranty.

big yellow dud

This seems to be a common issue the end of mine broke off as well. This was not a cheap hose and it should have held up longer considering the minimal usage. I will reach out to Stanley and see if they actually stand behind the limited lifetime warranty.

Fitting comestibles off

Bought this hose about a month ago. The fitting at one end came off with the water coming out under normal pressure. Manufacture defect that should be covered by the lifetime warranty.

Stanley Fatmax 50' hose

I purchased two of these last year. Unfortunately, in one of the them the connector came apart. Just like the posted photo of another reviewer. The quality of hose is good, but not the connectors. It is a pity.

Leaking at connector.

Hose material is great, no knots / kinks. However, connector started leaking after a couple months of use. I repaired with a replacement connector from the local hardware store. I have a couple of these hoses. I had recommended these to others until the connector started leaking.

Nice hose until the connectors blow off

We have had two of these hoses for about one year. Yesterday, one of the ends blew off while I was filling a tank. I had a pressure regulator installed inline and it was set to 40 PSI. Nice hoses and fittings, too bad they won’t hold up. I would only recommend this product if they could resolve the connector problem.

caused water damage

this hose is rated at 500PSI so I thought it was safe to let it hooked up in my garage but like the other reviews the end of those popped off and caused water damage to my garage.

Hose is broken

It fell apart, nozzle and the pieces in between. Its liketime warranty and ive been calling to get a replacement but the warranty company doesn't answer. I would not recommend this product, especially considering it costs alot of $$$$$.

Great hose if it didn’t break so dam fast

The hose doesn’t kink but it does break. Same issue as all the other reviewers here. The male end of the hose blows of.f Clearly this is an issue with this product and they keep distributing for sale and they aren’t a cheap hose either.
