It may not be flickable like the expensive, switchblade, "designer" box cutters of late but here is what sets it apart for the contractor: 1. Lime green--ugly but impossible to lose, 2. Storage--you can store an assortment of up to 10 blades in the handle, 3. Serrated handle--It has pistol-type serrations along the body for added grip, 4. All metal--for longevity, 5. Comfortable--for all day use, 6. Affordable--you can have two, one in the tool bag and one in the van.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently I own about 4-5 of these utility knives from my kitchen to my tool chest to my work belt. When I seek a replacement, this is what I look for. A durable, high quality knife that can handle hours to days of use at a time. And easy to see if you set it down on the jobsite somewhere. Affordable in price, always a good buy.

This box cutter seems much better than your basic box cutter. The blades are easy to load & the blade can be easily exposed/retracted with none of the "jamming" that can happen with lesser-quality box cutter. The green color really does make it easier to find. I've already lost & easily found it a few times in my basement, so I can attest to the green color making it easier to find. I also bought the orange Stanley box cutter several months ago which is also easy to find. Another great Stanley product.

It operates as it should, feels good in the hand, and most importantly the blade stays put even when applying a lot of pressure while cutting. Cool green is a bonus though I didn't need hi viz for any practical reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the big brother of this knife for years, the one with rubber inserts on the sides. This gives my knife a bit of added grip ability, but other than that, this 5 7/8 in. High-Visibility Retractable Utility Knife is identical to mine. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this about a week. Solid weight. All metal. Feels good in the hand. Comes with 3 blades. I like the bright green. Much easier to spot amongst my other darker green ones. Hope in the back for tethering. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the slide sticks pretty bad on the second and third detents. I check the blade and slide alignment to no avail. Overall not to bad especially for the price.

I’ve been using it to cut cement board with no issues. The high visibility color is nice so it doesn’t get lost while working. My only complaint is it does not have accessible blade storage without a screw driver. Besides that this knife is very heavy duty and has its place in my toolbox! Thanks Stanley for another quality tool!

The strong construction of this product and the bright green color make sure to stand the test of time and never get lost. What I like most about this knife is it's not a quick change blade. When I change the blade it stays secure and in place, I never have to worry about it coming out while I'm stripping heavy duty cables.

Good quality, easy to work with

Works well. Sometimes the button is a little stiff when you push the blade out. But a lot of these are like that. Also like the bright green color. It makes it easy to find.

The check out lady was so nice and friendly. The product was nice too.

Effective knife, but lack of instructions to mount the blade

Made to last. Heavy duty and comfortable.

Good cutting knife and the price was right, just what I was looking for.

Hard to load the blades. Instructions terrible and couldn’t find anything on line either for this particular model.
