Q:With the micro deposits on the blade will I be likely to scratch glass when using the blade flat as a scraper on glass? Ordinary Glass as tempered glass scratches if you breath too hard.

A:Â Hi Cody.....Made in the "GOOD OLD USA". If used many utility blades in my life and these are the best you can find. Sharpness of the blades last at least 4-5 times longer then the other brands made in China. I believe you'll be very surprised if you do purchase them. Hope this answers your question.

A:Â The 50 blade set I received was made in Mexico, which is a disappointment since the reason I went with the Milwaukee blades over the Fiskar blades is that I prefer to support the USA economy and jobs whenever possible. Live and learn.

A:Â Mexico. The back of the package says "Professionally Made in Mexico".
Some other brands say "Made in U.S.A. with global materials"

Committed to excellence
Keeping razorblades fresh will significantly decrease the likelihood of injury. When I buy a Milwaukee blade, I know what's safe to assume. Staying committed to quality saves me $4 every fifty blades.

Strong, sturdy and thick-ish blade.
Would take serious abuse to break one, (using where it should not be).
Sharp as to be expected.
Pride in the blade and its quality: This customer appreciated.
CONS:
Because it is so thick-ish and sturdy I have some issues with the spare blades resting inside of my utility knife (box cutter) despite the utility blade being one of the solid sturdy types (granted not made by the same company which is most likely the real issue).
Because the spare blades will not rest properly inside of the utility knife they rattle around in the knife and the knife in use will not come all the way out.
Personally I fee that all "GENERAL PURPOSE UTILITY BLADES" should be universal for any standard knife. NEVERTHELESS this is still an excellent blade!

You get five blades in the standard utility knife size.
There certainly are very sharp. The packaging says they have Iron-Carbide edges - making them more durable (3x) and sharper (2x) than others.
They fitted into my utility knife without any issues and I was able to test their sharpness by whittling some pine wood with ease.

I give these utility knife blades a five-star rating because of the durability and sharpness of its edge. When you hold the blade in your hand you can feel the strength. It is not flimsy like many utility blades are. When using it to cut it did not bend to the right or left it maintained its straight edge. I tested it against an old extension cord with number 12 hot and ground wires in case in the rubber wrapping and it cut through very easily and maintain the sharpness on the edge of the blade. It fit nicely in the Milwaukee utility knife that I already own. These blades are made in the USA and are very high quality.

Super sharp utility blades! They give you five blades, which is ample and could last me 3-5 years depending on how much I use them. Mostly I use them to open boxes which doesn't dull the blades too much. They install easy into most utility knives. My knife has a storage compartment for the extra blades.
I didn't know how much I needed a new blade until I installed the new one! The new blade cut through paper like a hot knife into rendered bacon fat! I couldn't wait for our next box to be delivered so I could slice it open with precision and ease!

This 5-pack of general purpose utility blades is another excellent product from the Milwaukee brand. Quite often I have to open or cut up cardboard boxes. So frequently in fact, that I have a few box cutters strategically located around the house. I have found the Milwaukee utility blades with their iron-carbide edge last longer and hold their sharpness more than other brands I have used over the years. In my opinion, these blades are an excellent choice for both home and commercial use.

Like everything else that Milwaukee makes these blades are of the highest quality. Very sharp, durable, and long lasting. I used these while helping to open a bunch of moving boxes one blade and all day. I then used them to cut a bunch of cardboard boxes up so they could be thrown away in the trash receptacles we had I think I changed blades twice pretty good for a hundred or so boxes. So if you will notice just four stars for quality where they fell short (and I was not surprised after all they are general purpose) was when I went to use them on 1/2" drywall they just did not hold up after just a few cuts I was forced to change blades. I however do not see this as a fault after all like I said they are general purpose and not heavy duty drywall blades. Of all general purpose blades I have used these are by far the best not so thin they feel as if they will break and absolutely long lasting during general use.

The dispenser which encases these general purpose utility blades is easily handled while being convenience. This container has an opening at the top for used blades and a sliding button at the bottom releasing the new blades. I have owned an old apparatus in which the blades are use for opening boxes and to brake them down for my recycling container.

These blades are not only very sharp as shipped but they seem to maintain their sharpness quite well. I used these on a drywall project and most of you know how effectively gypsum board dulls a knife blade. While I can't tell you the exact number of cuts I made before they grew too dull to work effectively, they just seemed to last longer than other blades. The blades come in a handy dispenser but mine had a tendency to separate on one end which I believe was just a mold defect. Overall, very pleased with the blades.
