[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Suncast is a great brand that has quality products. This hose reel reeled in my heavy duty hose with no issues. The only problem was the brass fitting that connects on the outside of the unit has a small leak, so you need to turn the faucet off when finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been searching for a hose reel that would elegantly store my hose, protect it from the elements, and keep it out of the way. The Baywood Smart Tube Wheeled Hose Reel Hideaway Cart is perfect for all three. It hides the hose beautifully, reels it in perfectly and evenly (which extends its life), and has a well-designed guide at the front that prevents kinking. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product.

If you care about your mential well-being don’t buy this piece of GARBAGE!!! This reel mechanism itself broke in half after a little over year of use… the stakes that come with it barely hold it in the ground. And the sad excuse for a reel stay leaking… Suncast y’all need to go back to the drawing board on this…

Looks nice but it is a cheap piece of junk. Returned the 1st one bc the adapter you screw your hose into wasn't threaded all the way. Bought an adapter thinking it was my hose. Tested the adapter on one they had at the store and it worked fine. Get home and the adapter wouldn't screw on. I took the hose reel back to Home Depot to exchange it with another one. Get home with the 2nd one and still had problems screwing on my hose but it did screw on but not very good bc it leaks at the connection. The hose that comes with the reel that you attach to the spigot/faucet and to the reel leaks on both ends through the brass connectors. It is horrible. I would save your money and find another brand

I have this hose reel on my concrete patio. When pulling out the hose the box would slide on the patio. I put some bricks in front of it and it solved the problem but looked bad. I had some curtain rod hangers that would fit a 1 INCH DIAMETER rod and found it would work to restrain the hose reel. I screwed the rod hangers to the side of my house and works great!

Nice product one thing just a little flimsy when your rolling up the hose. But it works great I like the level wind feature .

it is plastic. it is low to the ground more easier for a 7 year old to pull size that's the height of the handle. the other reviews about the connection popping off seem to be from older units or user error. the tracking system is great it moves the hose alignment for you. the handle is sturdy. the lid does open and stay open. it will handle the heavy hoses only not long ones but 75 foot is fine if connected to a 50 foot light weight hose that gets rolled on the reel first. solve the light weight when rolling in or out the hose by use of the stakes provided or mount it on table. the portability of this is only for Going from one side of the estate to the other when in use it needs to be held stationary. I have mine screwed to the table. picture of it below to lazy to remove the sprinkler. thats a 2 foot x 2 foot x 2.5 foot wide table. made with pieces of 2x4's 2x10 and 4x4's screwed together with the 61 cent L brackets from Home Depot. yes the boards were adjusted to allow for the wheels

So good, I bought another. Easy to set up, holds 150 ft of hose, but 100 ft was enough for now. Could always add another 50 ft because the feeder hole is wide enough to accommodate the hose joint. Works great!

This was a replacement for an older model enclosed Suncast reel that died due to old age(failed plastic hose part and cracking plastic elsewhere). This holds slightly less hose than older model. Also, older model had a drawer inside under the lid to hold hose parts and this does not. The lid cover is somewhat flimsy whereas the previous model had a sturdier lid. This is a concern as I lean over the assembly and use one hand on top of the lid while I pull out hose with the other hand. The lid bends in way too easily and is not structurally reinforced enough. I will have to be careful not to lean on the lid very much. With the old Suncast I could actually use the lid as a seat to sit down on it. Overall, I believe this is an improvement. Slightly smaller profile which I like. Also, the stakes to secure the reel frame to the ground are an improvement. The sliding reel guide is new and helps. However, the reel guide becomes slightly misaligned sometimes(fortunately, not a big deal). The retractable handle is nice so it does not stick out and clip someone's leg, although I am not sure how long it will be before the clip to extend the handle breaks as it appears to be cheap plastic. The brass fitting for a hose connector on the reel is a good improvement. Also, the wheels and extension handle are nice for moving it around. The only time I move it around is to bring it into the garage in the fall. Enclosed is a picture of the reel in front of our house. I found it hard to locate enclosed hose reels at the hardware stores. This was closest to what I needed and most of the competition were very cheap and flimsy looking.

This has been a great product so far. Bought a 100ft of hose to go with it. With the weight of the hose and the weight of the hose reel, I can pull the hose out without the reel moving. It is easy to wind the hose up. Just have to see how it all holds up over time.

Product actually earned ZERO "stars". Had unit for less than 1 week and it failed...the very first time used. The pivot point where the water supply connects to the reel failed (will not stay connected, sending water everywhere but through the hose). The retaining clip (persistently) will not hold, rendering the entire unit useless. Unfortunately, even more time and energy must be wasted to return this piece of junk.

It stores a 150ft long hose, the hose wheels in and out easily without getting stuck or tangled. The color is great as well. It is sturdy and has enough weight to stay in place. It also has wheels for easy handling.

Returned it as plastic was torn where one leg was attached.

Keeps the pool hose nice and neat. And it makes roll up a cinch.

Works well, plastic wheel already broke. Plastic parts do no last long in summer weather

It works good with 100' but I don't think it could take 150'

Product works well, is easy and convenient to use, and can be easily moved with the wheels and extendable handle.

I really like this hose reel, especially the guided hose mechanism. I wish the handle on top extended taller. I guess if you are really short it’s fine otherwise you will have to bend over as you move it around.
