Great tool
Great help in making pocket holes for attaching panels without seeing screws. Easy so use, nice kit that contains everything you need to machine pocket holes for hidden screws.

Galling stupidity
The design of this product is defective. I just attempted to join some 1/2" wood, and found that this jig is incompetent.
The main problem is that the holes drilled won't even fit the PROVIDED screws. The holes bottom out well before the ocean.

Wow!!!!! What can I build next????
Wanted to build a 72” entertainment credenza/TV stand seeing the prices to buy one. I heard of these jigs before but never used one. I had almost no expectations this would work but very quickly it became clear this tool was going to be awesome. Very easy to figure out and after a few practice holes I was on my way. Built this entertainment center quickly and inexpensively. First try. Extremely strong and sturdy, joints done quickly. Simple. Great value for the money. Cant wait to build something else.

I was very please with the Kreg pocket hole jig. Just purchased a few weeks ago. I'm short of a new to wood working. I built a special sized screen door for my basement. Borrowed my sons miter saw and it came out perfect. Hope to use it again soon.

Damaged on first use due to manufacturing defect
Bought this to build a desk. Bought the kregg jig because they are renowned for high quality on youtube videos I watch so I didn't mind paying extra. I used thick lumber so I set the depth on the bit accordingly using the stop collar. Only, it didn't slide smoothly all the way up so I had to force it (this is with allen screw totally loose). When I went to change the depth today the stop collar was locked in place, even when loose. Had to knock it loose. It is scratched. For some reason the back end of the bit is thicker. I do not recommend this if you are using lumber thicker than 3/4 inch. Very surprised based on what I've seen people say about kregg.
