A15 bulbs are mostly used for appliances and ceiling fans, but also for some lamps. While I don't know how long these will last since I've only had them three months, in general I buy the Sylvania brand and have been happy with it. The 2600K soft white light gives a warm glow, which is yellower in color than the bright blue light of the daylight bulbs. These are packed securely so you can feel comfortable ordering them by mail.

We bought wrong size and returned them .

I appreciated when I was greeted entering HD in Midvale, UT. But the most I liked that I was helped to find the right item by the sale associate, experienced gentleman, who's name I didn't catch. Keep good work HD and keep having good experienced employees who are ready to help us, customers.

Perfect size for old bed table lamp.

One light bulb burned out after 3 days. Junk

The package had previously been opened and re-taped back together. Clearly someone returned and product was poorly repackaged and placed on floor for sale. Not first time with issues in lighting areas, several occasions where displays are completely empty, requiring me to try and find a replacement box in storage area above - locating associate to assist or climbing the ladder myself. Most times completely out of stock

These 40 watt LED bulbs are brighter than than the 60 watt bulbs they replaced and light up our hallway beautifully!

Substituted the brand I selected on-line for another brand

Special vanity lights for Main Bath. Prefer these over LED for color and ability to dim. Trying to delay being forced to go to LED as long as possible.

I need the incandescent light bulbs for my "Lava Lamp". The heat that is generated allows the oil mixture to bubble up like it is supposes to. The LED bulbs don't generate enough heat for the lava effect to take place.

I asked for he bulbs you mentioned, but when I got there, they had provided a different brand of 40 W bulbs for me. I was not sure why they didn’t give me Sylvania.

The stand out feature is its: INCANDESCENT light bulb It’s sooo hard to find these.
