Awesome diningtabletop grill. Tried ribeye, rack of lamb, skewed lamb kebab, chicken thigh/breast, even pineapple. Tasty. Automatic temperature control is amazing. Easy to set up, to use, and to clean. Plates are dishwasher friendly. Perfect for 2-5 people. Had friends coming over and they even bought one halfway through dinner. Smell of smoke is there but manageable.

I love the grill, my sister has one, so I had to have it.

This grill has worked properly one time in the 10 years ive had it. It will return to the garage on the shelf. Do not purchase.

The grill basically shuts off when you put the food on the plates. Preheats, ready beep sounds and then when you put the food on and close cover the OK light starts flashing...usually after it beeps saying food is already at well done stage already!! Tried the factory reset I was sent and still does it. Guess I’ll be buying a ninja grill.

Very pleased about the way the OPTi grill works. Never had a bad meal on it. Very easy to understand.

It has a habit of turning itself off. Plug unit in. Press power button. Select option. Press OK. Wait for grill to preheat. When it is ready, open grill and place food on grill. Close grill. Sometimes the OK button will flash. Sometimes it does not. If it flashes I press it. Shortly after the grill turns off. What you have is a raw steak with grill marks.

I bought my grill years ago. It burned our after year of satisfying service. I really miss my grill. It was the best investment I have ever made. Thanks t-flat

Works great, especially in our small household. I have had it about 7 years and works great for burgers, chicken, etc. The only annoyance is cleaning it, but if you use a brush (don't put it in the dishwasher) it will clean up fine.

This is the best grill I have ever owned, both indoor and out! I consider myself to be an excellent cook but sub par when it comes to grilling. This grill is a game changer. The temperature guidelines are spot on. Thus far I've tried chicken (skinless breasts, bone in skinless thighs) and salmon. The results were succulent and perfectly cooked. I've had this only 4 days and have used it 3 times with plans to try bacon wrapped turkey tenders this evening! My next cooking adventure on this grill will be with vegetables, fruit, and tofu which I am sure will be equally delicious. Ease of operation and cleaning are phenomenal. I'll probably never use my oven again, especially during our heat ridden Kansas summers. Moreover, it is an ever so healthful means of cooking as unnecessary fat accumulates efficiently into the drip pan. Although this grill is a little more pricey than other's in its category, the extra expenditure is well worth it. The Tfal Opti is a kitchen tool that everyone should own.

The product is nice and neat, I really want to use it., but unfortunately it is too small .

Had a previous model of T-fal for five years that stopped working after MUCH use. I had to have another! This one works better than the first one. It seems to cook faster and is easy to use. I kept the griddles and the grease tray from the last one; they fit the new one!

The T-fal Optigrill exceeded my expectations. It is a great design. I especially like the non-stick cooking surfaces. They remove with a push of a button for easy cleaning. The design allows grease/oil to drain away into a removable tray. I use the T-fal so much that it has a permanent place on the counter. However, I do use it most often under the stove hood to capture any smoke/vapors produced during cooking. I definitely recommend this product for easy, low-fat cooking.

I am not much of a cook; for a beginner this grill is fine. Easy to use. Does what it says it will. For the price, it's a okay.

Met all expectations

The T-fal Optigrill does meat to perfection. My husband likes his meat medium and I like mine well done. This grill lets you know when it is done each way.

I love it and will and have recommended it to several people even the shoppers in the store that I see looking at it. I love it even more because my granddaughters can make their own hamburgers while I just sit back and watch. They love it, it makes their transition into teen hood and cooking comfortable and more pleasant.

I bought this grill about 5 years ago, worked fine at the beginning, but had to calibrate the grill a couple of times for grilling height/sensor, I used grill about one to two times a month. Yesterday I plugged in the grill and heard a buzzing sound with controls lights flickering! Flames came out of the back right corner and griddle died instantly!!! Tried to unscrew the unit to see what had happened and wires where completely fried. Was a fan of tFal product but got a reality check on product quality, DO NOT BUY! Read honest reviews and customer satisfaction before making a griddle purchase.

I wanted to love it.. first month or two I did. Soon it just didnt keep a setting. Everything went to manual. I tried all the re-setting options. Nothing worked. Finally I relunctantly was so exhausted making it work, i threw it away. What a waste.
