We bought one of these for our patio. We set it up and wished it would have worked to keep the mosquitoes away. But it didn’t. Save your money… it was a huge let down for me. I will continue to use my spray until I can find an alternative.

It is not working well

Worked great in my kitchen with the door open and the fan going, no smell detected.

Bought 2 Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repellers for the office. Very disappointed that the fuel cell and 3 repellent mats only last 12 hours. Not worth the price. Very expensive to replace the fuel cell and repellent mats. Will be returning them.

After purchasing various types of Mosquito repellents, I finally found this Patio Shield from Thermacell . Easy to follow instructions so once I set it up outdoors and wait approximately 15 minutes. The mosquitoes disappeared. I noticed it works better on less windy days. I use it near pool on patio while barbecuing and at the park. It’s worth it!

It does seem to work. The temperature in the Northeast hasn't dropped enough to kill the mosquitos yet, so in deploying it for the last 3-4 weeks, they seem to clear out when the unit is activated. it seems to work better when used in conjunction with both Lemongrass & Peppermint incense around the yard. When it goes on sale again (as it's not cheap) I will buy another.

Love this, so far works great, on patio, in garage, I ordered new refills that controll black flies, let's hope that works as well

I am amazed at the power and protection this Little item gives you. We have enjoyed our summer more with it.

Had to rip the packaging apart to get the directions and it didn't work at all. We were camping and really needed it. Will be returning.
