My previous mower couldn't handle the steep slope in our back yard. I ordered aToro-22" self-propelled mower and have never had to work too hard again.

i CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY PUT "GUARANTEED TO START" ON TOP OF THE MOWER.. IT DOES NOT START. ANOTHER HOME DEPOT PIECE OF CRAP.

To be honest, it isn’t as powerful as what I had (we have some tough spots to mow) but it runs very smooth and will get the job done just fine. I like how easy it is to maneuver.

Delivers on all of its promises. Cuts very nice and effortlessly.

Bought this mower several months ago when I needed to replace my 18 year old Toro. Have used this new one about 8 times since. As for rating...its a Toro mower with a Koehler motor, what's not to like about this combination.

I like this mower, it's powerful yet not too heavy to manipulate. Does the job well. Would heartily recommend it.

I am a senior citizen with arthritis and I love having a self-propelled mower. However, it is heavy for me, and difficult to turn. It would be better if it had a reverse and turning wheels on the front. Also, my hands are not large enough to hold the lever for self-propel and the handle at the same time, so I have to use the lever with one hand while steering with the other, and this is difficult for me. I am trying to come up with an adaptation so I can use both hands to steer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My model is not on this list, but this is the closest I could find. I have the 22 in recycler mower with bag, front wheel drive. It was easy to put it together, and it started the first pull, with no problems. The instructions for wheel height adjustment were confusing, or maybe I'm just dumb. But I finally got it right, and its a dream to use. I like it a lot better than my old mower. Toro makes an excellent product and I'd recommend it to anybody. It figures every time I go to register something anywhere, I can't find the model number I actually bought. Maybe this model is discontinued??

Liked everything about the mower but had engine problem after using twice. Tried to exchange it but retailer did not have another one so I bought a different brand.

Very happy with mower. Starts on first pull. Self propelled goes through tall grass with out slowing. Only downside is the smell of exhaust constantly throughout use.

Mower works fine. However, it would be nice if the handle could be raised ninety degrees without having to remove the two bolts holding its position.

This is a strong mower works Very well only one problem the grass catcher blows grass out on the body around the motor.

I always stop the lawn mower to empty the grass catcher bag once I cut either the front or back yard. I find it very difficult to restart the lawn mower once the engine has stopped. I have asked my neighbor to help me and he agreed it was very hard.

Pretty good at cutting through long grass. Wanted a higher cc mower at the time, but this was only option at local ace. Pretty good for 56cc.

The back tires broke within the first month of use! They’re plastic and they cracked, so bad the tires fell off. Absolute junk! Do not buy

Hard to start and 2 months in the self propelling went out.
