I'm sure you heard that before and it applies to this product as well. I am not new to laminate wood flooring and I gotta say this is a basic, cheap floor that will do its job. No underlayment, no surprises here, it's listed. Although the surface is made of scratch resistant material, everything else (wings, clips) are made out of flimsy wood particle that break easily. I had 2 boxes with damaged endings and had to selectively use them in special places, against a wall, inside a closet). Also, the very fine corners of the surface break off easily, leaving unsightly installation joints. So, few tips. Be very careful when handling the boxes, the planks gets damaged easily. In my case it could be HD or me causing damage, not sure. Get wood glue. I know - you now supposed to use glue in this installation. But when these wings break or corners break off, you gotta reinforce them with something. Also, considering the flimsy nature of these planks, I used glue on "T" junctions (3 planks) for added stability and durability. Need a mallet to tap the planks during installation for better fit and proper setting in. Sometimes the short edge will not click, and needed resetting and tapping. Overall, I'm OK with this flooring, it's great for rentals, low usage rooms, or small budget. But I would not install it in my prime room with lots of traffic, or in my forever home.

I used this to replace old carpet in bedrooms and a landing, and I was amazed at how good it looks. For the price I figured it couldn't hurt to try, but it has held up incredibly well, looks sharp, and was a breeze to install

easy to install. it looks amazing, however be prepared, cutting it with any type of electric saw will make a lot of dust. make sure to cut outside and blow away the excess of dust or it will clog the motor of your tool.

Nothing went right putting this flooring in and we've used a lot of laminate wood flooring. Corners were all beat up. The flooring chips easily. And the lock in piece was cut wrong in the factory. We bought 1200 square feet and are not happy about at all.

this flooring is textured so I gives it a luxurious look! Beat part the price! people are amazed by my flooring!

After begging my husband for months to choose this (for both the color and the price!) he finally caved. It looks SO great, and you can’t find anything even close for this price. It has held up to three kids and two dogs, and still looks great! And he agrees it was a good choice and likes it too lol.

This floor apparently is not scratch resistant. A Rubbermaid bowl fell out of my fridge and hit the floor ,broke the plastic rim .....bam...now i got a scratch .

Put this beautiful flooring in the main part of our living space! Looks Awesome and has a real natural look to it. Not like some other laminate that tends to look fake.

This floor is great, Gave me no problems for a first time floor installer. Out of the 15 cases I bought I had one chipped plank. I saw alot of review saying there was brittle and warping issues, I let the flooring Acclimate to the rooms enviorment and have had NO problems at all. Good buy and product at even a greater price.

The floor was inexpensive and it’s beautiful. It was easy to install and it seems durable. It’s only been a month since we put it down but love it so far.

You can’t beat this. Don’t be put off by the price… it’s a genuine great deal. It looks great and it has held up beautifully in our 950 sq ft townhouse. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve dropped something thinking it would absolutely leave a mark, only to find the floor unfazed. There are no scratches anywhere that I have seen and we push our furniture around a bit. We have 2 (well deserved) nicks. Both happened on a board edge. Both were traumatic drops. But they don’t seem to grow… we just mark them with a furniture pen and move on. Water beads up nicely until you can wipe it up. Seriously… at 0.99 a square foot (we actually got ours on sale at 0.50 sq. ft. 3 years ago), you will not find a better budget floor. In a few years, when we’re ready for a change and have accumulated a few more well deserved dings, we’ll rip it up and try another color for a while. Because it’s 0.99 a square foot!!! I love this floor. Please keep making it!

This flooring is beautiful. We have had in our dining room for several months now. Cleans easy.

I bought this to replace super nasty carpet and plan on it being temporary until I change the fireplace stone and some other things. Then I will move it to a basement room if it is still in good condition. I've had it installed for a couple weeks and it seems to be good quality. I have 2 Rottweilers who need their toenails trimmed and there aren't any scratches or anything from them. Laminate is kind of slick, so I need to put down some rugs, which I planned on anyway. This is the Stone color. They are all named Pecan, so I almost bought the wrong one.

Overall it's a great product. The only thing I have as a negative is the lip parts that join are too small and you stifle your click them together on some. The more expensive ones do click a lot easier. But for the price they look fantastic. Just the labor is more difficult.

I love the way it looks. Very easy to installed, took me 8 hours to do closed to 500 sqt ft.

We first bought this Lakeshore Pecan Laminate Flooring for a large room (about 14'X40') in our basement in 2015. With a little help I was able to complete the install in one day and it looked great. We liked it so much that a year later we replaced the carpet in our living room, hallway, master bedroom and walk in closet with the same flooring. A couple of weeks ago we decided to tear out the carpet in one of our bedrooms and replace it with the Lakeshore Pecan. The flooring in our basement which is now 6 years old still looks as good as the day it was installed. We are very pleased with the product and the way it looks and also the price per square foot is very affordable.

Hides dirt well, looks sophisticate, highly recomend.

We installed this over a weekend in our basement and was pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous this flooring is and how well it matched our furniture. The picture on the packaging doesn't do it justice. It is more stunning in person.

This product was super easy to install and it looks great. We covered our whole downstairs with this flooring and it has held up well. This product is very durable and easy to clean.

First plank floor ever, and it only took me 5 hours to do my 300sqft kitchen. I messed up on my first half, and didn't stagger. Took that up, and had no real breakage in the joinery. Didn't use a chalkline and installed on a sloped floor, just watch out for low spots in your subfloor. Overall, great learning experience and my kitchen floor is finally not mismatched. Much more durable than other reviews led me to believe, but I was also careful.

I’ve used this in 3 homes now. First one was done 5yrs ago and still looks great. 1 German Shepard 2 little kids. Easy to clean and keep clean.

I used about 1,200 sq ft of it in my old home. Looked beautiful. I have moved and am using it again to get that rich beautiful look in the new home. Looks great and is easy to install and clean.

Fit great super easy to do highly recommend in tough areas.

The appearance is fantastic but... product chipped a few times during installation, didnt realize the product was press board, not the end of the world but need to handle delicately when using tools to secure planks in place. For the price/appearance this is great - we'll see if it holds up to wear.

The floors turned out great. Very sleek. It gave my home a new feel.
