Even box was broken luckily the antenna was ok. Box was in two pieces at my door.

Nice antenna. I had no idea that Home Depot sold this item. And the bonus was that it was about 25% cheaper than anywhere else that I looked.

Great price and fast service.

I have always bought Diamond antennas for my ham radio needs. Several months ago I got the Tram equivalent of the Diamond X-510. The construction quality was the same and so far it has performed as well as the X-510 that is in use on a different radio. This Tram seems to be the clone of the Diamond X-200 in every respect. At less than half the price of the Diamond, I consider this a great price for a quality antenna.

easy assembly; works great

This antenna is better than I thought. It is very simple to assemble and I am full quieting into a repeater with 5 watts that used to take 35 watts on a j-pole antenna. I recommend putting some dielectric grease on the threads of the joint, then wrap the joint with E-Z fuse tape. I then wrapped that joint with white electrical tape just to make the joint look better. Great performance for the price.

Its a fine antenna for the cost. I live in slightly rolling terrain and im hitting repeaters over 75 miles from my base on 25 watts on 2 meters with my yaesu ftm 7250 dr. I can raise power to 50 watts but not needed, 70 cm im hitting them 50 miles away on 25 watts. Easy to assemble but be sure n connect center wire first. Set mine up 25 ft high used lm 400 coax n swr was lowest on 2 meters 1:2 to 1 and on 70 cm higest was 1:7 to 1. If needed id buy another.

If you weather proof this antenna it is EXCELLENT! I am going to buy another one to keep as a spare and the Tram 1481 as well for the added height and range. This antenna comes HIGHLY recommended from the #1 amateur radio EXPERT in the Houston metroplex. If you are in Houston, you know who I am talking about. Get your very own TRAM 1480 before it's too late.

Missing 3 Radials! Not in the box. Called the manufacturer, could not send me the parts and wanted me to return it!. What a waste of time. Am sure the antenna works fine if they package it properly so not to lose parts.

Its better than i thought it would be,my communication range has increased 1 third or 35 mile radius more. I suggest this antenna to anybody

It replaced a dual band J Pole. I have experienced much better reception and have received reports of a much stronger output signal.I am very pleased with it construction of the antenna with all hardware included being stainless steel.

This is a great dual band 2m/70cm antenna. I installed it with 50ft of LMR240 coax 28ft in the air. Ran an SWR check on it and my radio put out 54 watts, REF as .10! SWR was an amazing 1.06. I am able to reach repeaters miles away with ease. This antenna does a great job!
