I love the material and overall look and functionality of these shower wall panels. It has a very eye-pleasing matte surface, and I love the overall cleanliness and look. The only reason I took one star off is because the installation was a bit of a struggle. As other reviewers point out the panels' thickness doesn't match the dividing horizontal H tracks. I ended up just gluing the tracks between the panels using butt joint style.

Overall this shower package works. Appearance-wise, it’s looks institutional. We got the gray. Be sure to read and follow the installation instructions carefully. Or hire a professional and make sure he/she reads the instructions carefully and follows them. On a DIY scale, I would not attempt if you are a beginner. If any wall is not installed properly, the corners will not fit flush. Although installation is not easy, the material is tough and very heavy. Price-wise, it was an affordable unit compared to others on the market, but still seems expensive for basically three walls. Just my opinion.

This may not be for every Harry/Henrietta Homeowner, but it’s a fantastic product. It’s heavy and not a one-day job. But I was happy with the results!

Solid surface is a great shower option. Much more durable than fiberglass and easier to install and looks much higher end. We love the matte finish hides water spots and easy to wipe down to keep clean. Install of panels on wonderboard was easy but two people are recommended not due to weight but due to panel size. Easy to cut panels if needed with a 60 tooth finish blade. Wear mask though since very dusty when cutting. Used transolid's solid surface "decor" line pan and super strong as well and a perfect match. Make sure to seal joints and base with 100% silicone and seal panel joints and then install corner trim and seal that as well. Two lines of defense against water leaks in corner. Never will install tile again.

Put in a mobile home. Was perfect for the odd size Turned out great! I would use this again. Might do the another bathroom.

The installer only had a small problem with the corner pieces. He was trying to find a good adhesive, which would bond to the surround panels. Other than that, it went up easily and it looks quite clean and smooth.

The walls looks nice but if you need the extension pieces for a taller shower the colors don’t match and the marble pattern is really faded. They also didn’t send enough molding pieces to seal the seams between the main walls and extension pieces. We were told we can’t get another piece because it was sold as a kit. If that’s the case the kit should come with the correct number.

The walls were packaged very well to eliminate damage to product. Looked good and very pleased with product.

Not for amateurs to install but great product. Mildew resistant great longevity for rentals. No problems with grout getting compromised or getting cuts from sharpness of tile on skin.

This surround had some short comings that need to be addressed. The kit arrived missing the required panel trim that blends panel s together. This caused a delay in construction while we waited for parts from Transolid Expressions. The trim does not fit well with the panels because the panels are of a different thickness. Because of this, we had to bend the metal trim and grind the back of the panels to get a proper fit. I rate this surround as average because of the extra labor time and delays. The panels are of good quality and look very nice after installation.

We ordered the 96in floor to ceiling panels. After a long wait for delivery, we were finally able to get them installed. Our installer loved the thickness of the panels, and the look, but when trying to install the upper panels into the metal trim piece supplied, they would not fit. The upper panels are slightly thicker than the bottom panels, so the installer had to grind off the back of each piece about inch back so that it would fit into trim. Added 2+hrs to installation time. Overall +.

Buyer beware, absolutely no product support. None. This is their response, " SINCE TRANSOLID DOES NOT HAVE AN INSTALLATION TEAM TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS BELOW, TRANSOLID WILL HAVE NO RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INSTALLATION PROCEDURES". This is the second attempt to communicate with Transolid. The first one was to verify the type of caulk for glueing it up, because it was not in the package like the description said. Packaged so tightly there is no place for it. Just wanted confirmation that the caulk we purchased separately was correct. Shouldn't be too difficult to answer, since they say it can be installed over existing surface, drywall, etc. But the company response is listed above, with an additional paragraph about hire a professional. Given the expense of this, I think I deserve simple answers. BTW, this product is not made in USA like their site would have you believe.

This is a high-density, hard product. It cuts well, with no chipping. Just be aware that two cuts will completely dull your saw blade.

This material may look alright with a pattern but we selected the solid white. Is was absolutely flat, and actually a bit “chalky”. It was also several shades darker than the 36" x 60" Transolid acrylic base, which is very nice. Consequently, we returned the walls to Home Depot which was a logistical nightmare (60” wide, 200 lb box on a wooden pallet. I am still surprised that none of the Home Depot stores in the Metro Atlanta area carry sample of the shower wall material. I recommend not purchasing this unless you can see and touch the real thing.

Very sturdy and everything I wanted. It was packaged and shipped extremely well. My contractor was also impressed. I dropped 1 star because it is expensive.

It was easy to assemble very clean look made a big difference in the bathroom!

The kit didn't come with any side wall panels or adhesive. Completely unacceptable after spending $900. Returned.

There should be L piece to go in the seems then the matching panel above it. Silicone on these seams yes at this point.
