Q:What are the metal bracket/screw holes dimensions? Would be sturdier to install wood blocks in the behind the walls to screw the shelves bracket to but don't see it in your instruction manual. Plan to cover the walls before the wall kit/shelves shows up.

clarification..
When I went thru the reviews I wasn't aware that this shelf was hollow with a metal bracket..Thought it was solid. Not installed yet but will post pic later. just wanted to post pic of the back side now for folks to know..

Easy to install did put a little bit of glue on the metal bracket and on the inside of the shelf ...
Easy to install did put a little bit of glue on the metal bracket and on the inside of the shelf to help hold in place, then used chalk along the back edge s to keep the water out.

Love the look & function
Our panel kit only came with one shelf so we ordered a second as well as a shave shelf. We love the ease of installation, love the look of the marble, love the finished product, and what we hope will be long durability. They seem to be holding well. I do agree with others that they are a bit pricey for what they are, which is mostly foam.

When paired with the FlexStone Shower Surround System, this shelf is a really great addition when you need extra storage in the shower. Prior to instillation it seemed somewhat flimsy, but as soon as it was installed my thoughts changed. Loved this product and will use it in each tub/shower I install!
