Got the lumber boxed and bundled in good shape, some twisting which is to be expected but no cupping or other defects, also purchased a charcoal stain to touch up the splintering from cuts. Might put a coat of satin poly on down the road to protect the rustic grain from abuse as it is being used for trim in my entry ways. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice rustic look without the pain of painting/staining without putting a hole in the wallet.

I love the look of this weathered barn wood. Trimmed out my basement and used it to frame corrugated steel.

I don't think I've ever written a review before, but I thought I would on this one. First I'd like to set the record straight on some of the poor reviews stating this is not "Real Barn Wood". The first sentence of the description says "This factory-milled board is primed and painted to mimic the natural texture and patina of aged and weathered barn wood". So No! It's not actual barn wood. It is factory made rough cut lumber made to resemble barn wood. I did have to dig through the stock to find enough straight boards to build my headbord/footboard. Leaning on a rack at an angle can warp the board over time. But with a little effort and time I did find the 25 boards I needed for my project. If you don't find enough, try another location or ask a manager if you don't have another store near by (I realize some areas don't). Since I took the time to pick out the straight boards, there was no work needed to try to fit them in place. They were easy to work with but I would suggest gloves to avoid the splinters you can get because it is rough cut. A rough sand with some 80 grit sandpaper to get the splinters off and still leave a weathered texture and look was all they needed. 2 coats of whitewash (1st one with the grain, the 2nd against) followed by 2 coats of clear polyurethane and I got exactly what I wanted.

This Trim Board Pack was needed to complete the wall in the bedroom. They were used with six and eight foot shiplap boards. Came out beautiful and would love to do another wall.

Looks good on my storage house doors

This is what ive been looking for. It worked perfect for floating shelves next to our 4K tv upstairs. My only complaint is the material chips/flakes easily, but nothing a grey washable marker cant fix. The color is best seen in store not correct online image. The picture with the shiplap and the staircase is about right though.

It is new lumber pure and simple. It has been milled in the factory to resemble old weathered barn wood. These are decorative accent pieces and are meant to be used to create a rustic ambiance. The boards are exceptionally well detailed from the graining to the knots to the pre-finished staining. All that is missing are holes and ragged edges for complete authenticity. One problem is a warped board. It's hard to trim with a curved trim piece. We are going to use this material on our outside porch so we will need to follow the recommendations and put a sealer on it. I love the looks of this product but be aware that like any new lumber, it can warp.

Not ready to be installed have to prime and paint it

As I bought this online I did not realize this was faux cedar. Looks good for the job I needed it for.

I was shipped the wrong color

This trim looks nice but could use a little more gray paint. The raw wood bleeds through in spots

We used this as a rustic trim and love it. Some pieces had staining, but most were just perfect for our vision.

Ordered product two times and received two different products. Contacted customer service they were going to reach out to manufacturer. Weeks have passed and no resolution

Slight variation in boards thought this was nickle gap but it is not so I had to use my own nickles to achieve that look .

I purchased these (3 packs) for use in building a set of sliding barn doors for interior use. They were to be used as trim pieces along with the shiplap boards. The shiplap needed to be cut to size which I did first and then I was going to cut these to size however when I opened the box I found these to be badly bowed,I thought I could use them by using liquid nails, nailer and clamps but it didn’t work out well, so basically I had to junk $130 worth of these. Awful quality on this supplier.
