Really easy to cut only matter it sag

Home depot should expand into more modern materials for building waterproof showers as backer board like foam waterpoof lines such as laticrete hydro ban board. There are others products that do the same thing and are much lighter and easier to cut than the dura rock which is dusty and heavy to work with.

Great for outside wall projects

Durock is easy to cut but very messy. It's also heavy and difficult to handle because of the flex. Hardyboard is a stiffer base when that's a priority, but I prefer Durock because of the tile adhesion and the option of using either the smooth or rough side.

I was able to get a full 4x8 cement board for a bathroom renovation project which was nice as I didn't have to have extra seams. I used the cement board under the 12x24 floor tiles and it turned out great. The floor feels nice and solid under your feet.
