Was able to "skin" my BBQ with the cement Board. The 1/2" thickness was not consistent, and it tended to fall apart a little. Overall it got my job done

Good stuff, been using it for years for various tile projects. Most recent use was in a bathroom to replace some badly water damaged wetwall (couldn’t really call it drywall any more) before applying decorative stone to the wall. Worked like a charm.

The best when it comes to floors and walls putting up tile! Study, thick, solid floor and walls putting backing for tile with two textures smooth and rough for tile on wall and tile on floor applications! Cuts SIPER easy with a Dewalt Oscilating tool or Dewalt saws all! Cut, lay it down to check your work, the mirror to floor and screw down while still wet or screw to the wall studs! That simple! Trowel on your Morton and set up tile!
