Quick to inflate the tires and the cord was just the right length.

12-VOLT PORTABLE COMPRESSOR
seems well built, a lot quieter than the black and decker or kobalt compressors i had have only had to use it 2 times. 1 mower tire at half pressure filled very fast. 1 car tire 10 psi low i had to top off also very fast.

Solid compressor
This little compressor is more than I expected after purchasing a cheaper model years ago. The unit is quiet, small and portable. It will air up a flat tire quickly.

Solid
Only used it once so far but quality seems great. Much more quiet than my last pump.

Very nice product.
I have a slow leak in one of my tires that has had me stopping once a week to fill up. On occasion, I will come out to the car and the tire is flat. Based on my model of car, I know it is rim leaks and taking it to a tire shop means they will reseat the rim, which may do more harm than good. I purchased this compressor to have should I be stuck, and man does it deliver. Topped my tire off in seconds. My only complaint would be that the built-in pressure gauge read different than the trusty one I've been using for months. Will be getting another gauge to verify which is wrong, but I bought this product for it's inflating capability and not for it's gauge, so I am not concerned about that. Very happy with the purchase, will recommend this product every chance I get.

get the job done
Sturdy construct, inflate four tires in a reasonable time.
Power cord should be longer for convenience. The tie come along is handy.

I am pleased with my purchase.
This inflater works quietly and smoothly. The gauge is accurate and I like the fact that the hose screws on to the valve stem on my tires. (I have had others that popped off or leaked all the time.) The power cord needs to be a little longer. This inflater aired my tires quicker than any I've had before but this one costs more than any I've had before. Overall I'm very satisfied.

well made
This compressor is rated for around 65 PSE This is enough pressure for any size tire, would even get a large truck tire inflated enough to get to a service facility.
There are lots of compressors that claim much higher pressure ( 350 ) PSE but the cubic ft. per min is more important. The 85 P is much higher in CFM which is what's needed to inflate a tire in reasonable time.

Fast and surprisingly quiet.
Well pleased with the 85P. I had a 120v inflator that worked well for many years until giving out. I wasn't sold on the 12 volt cigarette hookup, and the cord limitations. My way around that was a portable battery with an auto store cigarette lighter mounted on a carry platform. The fine print on the box says to have your car running and all that, but I have no issues doing my 4 cars,or 4 bikes.
Plus the straight threaded connector works nicer than the old inflator.

85P Portable Compressor
Small and easy to use but the cord length isn't good for vans. I bought an aftermarket cigarette lighter to battery terminal so I can also power this off car batteries. Works well and we have 3 cars. The gauge reading differs from my built in car gauge….don't know which one is correct!
In general, you need to hold the switch on til the gauge reads about 1 to 2 psi over what you desire and then let go of switch. Let it cool a bit and then take a reading.

Viair 85P portable compressor
well made product, screw on air connection for valve stem -- better than other sytles which could damage expensive rims. Very long power cord.

Great product
I have only had this product a month but it seems to work very well. I don't use it under pressure, i.e. to inflate tires, etc., I use it to blow sand out of my RC toys using a cut off inflation needle as a "blow gun". Works great!

Very nice
Seems to be high quality, runs strong and airs up my tires fast, easy to use. I believe it's better than any at Harbor Freight for quality and price that I have seen.

Best portable compressor
I have bought a lot of junky portable compressors through the years, including the stuff at my local Home Depot store. This Viar compressor (available on homedepot.com but not in my local store) is far superior. Really really good.
Would suggest that Home Depot start stocking it in their local stores.

Awesome portable compressor
Pros-It's small enough to carry in your trunk right alongside your jumper cables for emergencies. It's easy and hassle free enough to use all the time instead of unrolling your garage compressors hose. Just plug it into the 12v socket in your vehicle. Has a built in psi gauge. On/off switch right at your fingertips. It's light, has rubber feet to prevent it from "walking" off during use. Have used it a bunch of times to adjust tire pressures on my 3 vehicles with no issues.
Cons- Takes a little longer to inflate tires than a service station or a 2 stage compressor. Wish the power chord was a few feet longer so you can get to both sides of the vehicle without unplugging.
