I've previously purchased cheaper tire inflators for my cars. They don't last. I reviewed the Viair and bought it. I've used it numerous times, it works great. I just purchased two to give as presents. I would definitely recommend the product.

The compressor is just what they wanted. It works good. Very happy with purchase.

Purchased a pair of these little workhorses, the Viair 85P with a cigarette lighter adapter and 87P with battery hook-up clips. Both do the job pretty well for being portable compressors for tire inflation. They store nicely in the rear compartments of the vehicles inside the pouches provided, which are more than expected. Took a bit of planning to layout the power cord supplied with the 85P to inflate midsize SUV tires but the 87P has ample length power cord as well as feeder hose for full size vehicles, and possibly a midsize truck or a full size SUV. For large trucks, heavy equipment and powerhouse tractors, full size compressors are recommended. Being mini does have limits.

In less than one year, this compressor stopped working. It's not worth for the money at all!

Great for use I need it for. Fits right in the storage place in my truck. I am glad that I got the compressor.

This is the best air compressor that i have ever used and i have tried several different brands. I saw a car mechanic that I trust on YouTube talking about how great this air compressor was so I thought I would give it a try and boy was he right!! If you're looking for an air compressor look no further you will be happy!!

Fills up auto tires very quickly. Feels like a quality product.

Works as advertised; faster than other similar compressors I've tried. I made an adapter so I can just clamp it on to the battery posts or use the equipped lighter plug. I really like the canvas storage bag it comes in and the extra tips that are attached to the compressor so they don't get lost. The built in light is ok, but not real bright, but we all have flashlights, right?

Product was one of the best purchases I've made of any product I've bought - the only reason I gave a 4 star is that they should have made the power cord a little longer - it's fine for my vehicles but if i had a large suv or pick up truck it would be too short in lenth - add 3 ft of cord & it would be perfect!

This compressor works great! I have to park my car in a lot where I don't have access to an outlet to plug in my old 110V compressor. I had to wait for warmer weather to try the 12V and it worked as advertised. Also kudos to Home Depot where I purchased it on-line and had it delivered to my home. That was also fast and efficient.

Really powerful & high quality workmanship. Only issue is no quick disconnect, have to screw on & off valve.

Somewhat noisy. But they all are. Wish the power cord and the air hose were a little longer. Rubber air hose does not come with a braided shield for protection. I have used the compressor just once on four passenger car tires. Inflation was smooth and quick. Make sure you use a separate tire pressure gauge to confirm the pressure.

Great product and good quality. It does the job in a fast and quiet manner. Easy to use. Overall, it works great.

I've only used it 4 times. Topped off 4 tires and filled one the first time I used it.Ran for about 15 min total. Easy to use, the gauge is nice. Gets hot but that's normal for a compressor. Happy with it so far.

The product works as advertised. The gauge is off about 10% but otherwise worked well. I have only used it twice. The head will be hot but that is to be expected of any compression type product. The main drawback for the 85P is the combination of a 10 foot electric cord and 3 foot hose is way to short for filling tires on your vehicle especially if you have a trailer attached. I suggest getting the 88P that has the 12' hose or you will end up buying a couple of extension hoses for about $8.00 each including shipping. The cost with the extra hoses costs about the same as buying the 88P.

So far, good product for the price, features, and quality. Fills up tires quickly. I have not yet had to use it to fill a completely flat tire, but did test it out to fill up my tires (245 40 r20) from 35 to 40 psi, which took about 7 seconds per tire. Very compact in size.

It has accessories attached to the unit and has a nice storage bag that comes with it. I like being able to thread the hose attachment on to the valve stem. So far, no complaints.

Quite impressed with the quality compared to other air compressors I have owned. All metal head and body give it the feel and actions like no other air compressor. Maybe a bit bigger than others but it makes up for size with its ability to perform. Great air output in short time, quiet and stays standing on the rubber feet unlike others and the screw on hose lets out Zero air while screwing on or off. You cannot go wrong with this purchase.

I needed to replace a portable compressor from a different manufacturer when it stopped working. The VIAIR is far superior. It's solidly built, quiet, and fills my car's tires in far less time than my old one. Only downside: you need to have the car's engine running to use it.
