What you would expect of a dowel. Works as expected.

The oak dowels required some sanding to fit in the 1/4 dowel holes. They are fine and strong, better than using pine dowels.

I mean... Its a dowel, how can you mess that up

Too much money surprise at cost

It's a simple, clean, clear piece of wood, just what I needed to turn into a replacement part for a broken chair. (And by "turn", I mean literally "on my lathe".)

Very expensive for what it is….most of the dowels were wrapped so carefully sort. Also the dowels are rough and will need sanding

This is a little pricier than the other 1 inch dowel that they sell but it much sturdier and feels less prone to breaking.

Dowel was perfect size to complete a project at the house.
