Turneded it on, everything worked great for a couple min and then it stopped and started smoking.

I purchased this necessity to professionaly install electrical conduit.it worked great.

I bought this heat gun because I have used the smaller ones before. A great gun, easy to use and versatile. Lots of heat and easy operation. But I do wish that Wagner and all the corded tool maker would use a cord that is flexible. In cold weather this one keeps all the kinks and I think invents new ones. This makes the tool difficult to keep controlled when setting it down . . . the stiff cord rules. My old Makita corded tools have very flexible cords and work well after years and years. And perhaps the carry case could be designed with the cord in mind . . . all the kinks make it difficult to close.

The heat gun was easy to assemble and use of operation.

I plugged it in and turned it on and it blew hot air for about two minutes then the element must have given out because it never blew warm air again. Get the Makita, it costs more but it works better. More importantly, it works. Home Depot's return process is excellent by the way. And, No, I do not want anyone from Wagner to "reach out" to me. It is a bad product that is cheaply made. Buy something else.

this gun is perfectly designed especially with 6 fan speeds and the range of temperature control is expressive

I've only put maybe 12 - 15 hrs of runtime into the gun but it has performed very well at removing a few layers of paint off drywall in my house. The only problem I've had that another customer mentioned was since I'm using it to scrape drywall some of the dust is winding up inside my lcd screen and causing blurring of the screen. There may be a way to take the lense off and clean it but I'm not sure yet. I'm glad I bought this product regardless. I def recommend it and good quality product.

Easily adjustable and gets very hot, hotter than most other heat guns.

I have wanted one for a long time, but never bought it. When I had to refinish my door, I spent so much time on the first side standing it down, that I had to try something else for the back side. I accomplished in one afternoon after work on that second side what took me two or three days to accomplish on the first side. And it has so many other uses, definitely a tool everyone should have. Wish I bought it years ago.

Use this unit to replace an old heat gun that had seen better days. Love the temp control, it worked perfectly to help the Feed and Wax, melt into the pores of the Oak table top so I could buff it to a sheen to help protect against water damage. Also great for shrinking wine bottle seals as it provides a wider area to shrink the seals evenly.

This heat gun went above my expectations! This is an excellent product/tool!

So fare I have only used it on doing epoxy countertops to take out the bubbles just make sure you are fare enough away from the counter top if you going thin on the epoxy

Gun works good I just wish it had a better fan to blow the hot air faster!

Attachment s don’t fit on gun unless you form them out. Not convenient at all ,

My old heat gun actually heats faster and is more efficient in removing paint, adhesive under indoor wall siding, etc. The new one is pretty and has a few more attachments but the digital display gets dirty quite quickly. It is good for small quick jobs.
