We use these Brass Ball Valves to replace water shut-off valves under manufactured homes in our Co-op. Because of the design, we frequently replace the valves live so we don't impact other residents. Highly recommend these valves, but be sure to use Teflon tape on the threads.

I bought this item to replace an existing 3/4" brass ball valve that failed. I have purchased two of the cheaper brass ball valves from HD, and they both cracked and began leaking. This valve was a little pricier, but seems to be more substantial. Only time will tell.

leaks in under a year
Yes i know it has a one year warranty but who keeps receipts like that? I sprung for the nicer one and look at where it got me. Bummer

I have installed several of these valves over the years, and they have proven to be reliable over time. In the instance of this purchase, I placed the ball valve inline to control water flow into a water heater. Installation was simple, and the valve works perfectly. I believe these valves are a good, value-based selection for a variety of applications.
