I just recently purchased a Summit S-670. It is replacing a Summit 670 THAT IS 30 YEARS OLD! I rebuilt my first one once over the years and it STILL works. I now have 2 at least for a little while. As the saying goes, when it come to grills "there is Weber and there is all the rest'

I bought this for my wife February of 2015. It was to replace my smaller, 10 year old Weber grill I gave to my parents. She loved it then, and she still loves it today. The only problem is 1 door blows off during tornados. Pictures are from summer 2015 when our deck was repainted. And today, Fall of 2020 when we are getting a new deck. The grill outlasted the deck! I will never buy anything other than a Weber. Every couple years my neighbors put their old grills at the curb. Not me, 22 years with just 2 Weber grill that are still being used.

I bought this when I built my house in 2013.It still cooks decent but I am very disappointed with the finish quality. It began rusting and flaking within a year and now looks like junk. When I showed it to the Weber dealer where I purchased it who told me it had a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel, they said unless it rusts completely through it is not covered. 'Ive bought trucks that cost less than this thing and they lasted longer.

Amazing grill from the infrared burner, dedicated smoker box burner, sear burner and huge strorage cabinet. The side burner sits lower inside to prevent the wind from affecting the flame. The flip up rotisserie motor is trick, the skewer and forks have dedicated storage in the cabinet. The lighting system works great and with the six dedicated burners it hold temps spot on. The built in thermometer is the first one I’ve seen that actually shows the correct one. This grill replaced a 1999 Weber Genises, almost 20 years of regular grilling. Says a lot about Weber. Yes it’s a bit pricey but not when you compare it with others in the same quality.

Beautiful grill easy to put together great service dept

Other than the grill being delivered to my store in one very large box (I had to rent the HD truck to get it home) the experience with this grill has been way beyond my wildest expectations. I was a bit hesitant to spend that much on a grill (wish I had a photo of my wife's skeptical look when I told her I was buying this product to replace our 11 year old grill), but I went ahead and did it. This grill replaces a Webber Genesis Gold-C that had served us well, but whose flavorizer bars were "wilted" and no longer doing their job, leading to flare ups and other problems. I had not had good rotisserie experiences and smoking with the old grill using wood chips inside foil pouches with the old grill just didn't yield the results I wanted. Well, that was about to change! My first meal after setting it up was doing steak. The grill heated so evenly that all the steaks cooked the same. And then finishing them on the Sear Station put the finishing touch on them. My wife was like "Wow! Maybe you knew what you were doing buying this grill" My son then did 6 large slabs of smoked ribs. There was plenty of room and again, he remarked at how evenly the grill heated and how easy it was to finely control the temperature due to the large knobs on each burner controller. And the smoke box does put out plenty of smoke, although you may need to reload it if cooking for a length of time. A long metal spoon or scoop works well to do this. And being able to vary the heat under the smoke box has been very helpful. A great feature. The smoker has also been a popular option. I have used it when cooking tri-tips or ribs and now with turkeys. I did a "test turkey" several weeks before Thanksgiving. The 20 Lb. bird cooked evenly and picked up a nice smoke flavor. I do brine my turkeys and start them breast down while smoking them. You will not taste a better turkey. Way, way better than fried turkey. I did two 15Lb. birds side-by-side at Thanksgiving with great results. And they finished within 3 minutes of each other! We had a friend of the wife as a guest for Thanksgiving She said it was the best turkey she had ever had! And she is a retired chef! Thank-you very much Webber! Also, m underneathy wife, who normally does not eat dark meat said she likes the dark meat almost as much as white meat when I do turkeys on this grill. While this grill is big and great to have when having a party or having all the grand kids over, I also sometimes just grill a burger or two for my wife and I. This grill still cooks just as well using 2 burners or all 6. The drip pan is much larger than on my old grill. And it works well. My only real gripe is with the doors underneath the grill. They have a magnetic strip to keep them closed. But one of our dogs has learned how to open them.... and to get to the drip pan. Not pretty. So, I have put a baby cabinet latch on them. That keeps him and his nose out of trouble. This would be the only - and I mean only - fix I would suggest to Webber. If you love grilled, smoked, and/or rotisseried meat, this is your grill!

I received this grill from home depot.com about three weeks ago and the grill is great! A bit pricey but it definitely has all the features you could want. I love the smoker box and rotisserie, never had a grill with either feature before this. So far have smoked whole chickens (plural) at once Cornish game hens, country ribs, grilled steak, corn on the Cobb and shish kabobs of vegetables. Everything to date has been great with even temp. control and very little flair ups.

Overall an awesome product. However the Home Depot installation left some to be desired. They sent one man alone to carry a 290 pound crate up to a second floor desck, even after this issue was discussed on the phone. The lights on the lid handle are supposed to turn on when the lid is lifted and off when it is closed. One of them does not do this. The gas connecting pipe is 3/4" diameter while most similar products use 1/2". This meant I had to buy new piping and numerous adaptors to install it. Overall getting it going was a bitter experience, taking two days.

I’ve always had Webers, however, about 10 years ago, I bought another brand. When I needed parts, it was virtually impossible to get in touch with the company, I got this Weber, and it’s great. Home Depot’s delivery was excellent, the assemble was simple and took me about 45 minutes. Looks great, cooks great.

After having 4 Webers in my past I stupidly bought a much more expensive XO and hated it. (Our new house has natural gas so I had sold the propane one.) I’m back to a new Weber and loving every time I cook on it. I will never buy anything else again.

Such a great grill, we bought another one! Gave the old summit to one of our kids. It has lasted a decade or more and we grill, smoke, rotisserie every week- rain, sun or snow! Also, great customer service from Weber if we ever have an issue.

Have had the summit Gold for a little over 20 years . Finally need to replace . One leg has rotted and burner tubes are cracked . But still lights . Will definitely invest in another one.

Weber was contacted and provided a replacement. I am happy with their service.

The grill was put together incorrectly and it was delivered to me. I live on steep driveway and they want me to bring the grill back instead of sending company out to repai correctly

One of my best purchases ever

When this grill works it is great but keeping it working seems to be a problem. I bought this grill in April, 2021. After only one use it stopped working. The problem was with the pressure regulator which failed but took tow visits from repair people to fix. that has been fixed but there is a recurring issue with the control knobs. They keep breaking. I have had three break since purchasing it. The repair person said it is a problem with the control knobs being in the sun. They are plastic and the sun weakens them. These knobs have been redesigned in 2012 but apparently the design is still not good. Since a grill gets hot it seems incredible that Weber would design control knobs that can't take much heat. If you purchase this grill I would recommend purchasing several replacement knobs at the same time..

I can never get all of the ignitors to work usually one or two will go on and I just let the gas run out of the others and they eventually ignite, not very happy for such an expensive grill

Overall good as expected. Has good heating power. One burner needs 2-3 tries to light (that is why only 4 stars). Was relatively easy to assemble.

This is my second Summit S-670 it replaces one that still operable was getting harder and harder to care for after 12 years of excellent service. Looking forward to at least another 12 years. BTW I gave the old one away to someone who was extremely appreciative and needed a working grill but wasn't able to afford one as nice as the Webber

Replaces last S-670 we bought in 2007. Great bbq, takes cooking to a whole new level if purchaser realises this bbq is very powerful. Has a BTU value higher than 90% of any home furnace.

This grill performs exactly as advertised. We love the ability to have multiple heat zones while grilling. The rotisserie works beautifully. We haven’t used all of the features yet, but have been very pleased with the basics.
