These things are great for starting charcoals in a Chimney Starter. I just use one. Also great for getting the wood in the fire pit going.

Perfect for charcoal chimney

I like using these in my Chimneys instead of Paper - they’re much easier and its not as easy to find paper since we don’t get news papers anymore. They work well and do the job - However - the packaging leaves something to desire. It’s difficult to get the foil off of the one(s) you need without ripping or removing foil from others. I’m hoping they won’t dry out, or I might have to find a big enough zip lock bag to store them in. This could be re-thought.

Product works as advertised. No more fire department I used to use newspaper in a Weber chimney. The smoke from paper was not good.

Does exactly as advertised. I place 2 under the charcoal chimney and I'm good to go! You can also use them w/o a chimney. Just pile the charcoal over it and you'll receive the same results, just spread out vs stacked. They do light up quick! Use caution and step back.
