Perfect grill for empty-nesters, young couples, and the like. Just the right size for dinners for two! Much more efficient with propane than firing up the big grill and faster & less fuss than breaking out the charcoal. The Q is now my #1 grill and all the others are relegated to "special events". The design of the Q is very well thought out and all of the accessories, such as the cart, the 20lb tank hose, and even the grill cover work seamlessly together - Like they were actually designed to work as a system! And yet, you can quickly ditch all the extras, grab one of the little 1lb propane tanks you get from the hardware store, and head out with a light, self-contained, set-up that's perfect for a picnic at the beach or tailgating - the Q is versatile! I was concerned prior to purchasing the Q that it might not have enough BTUs to get that perfect sear. Absolutely NOT an issue! I'm not sure if it's the burner design, the burner spacing, or whatever magic Weber's come up with but it cooks like it's BTU rating is 5X greater than stated! Simply put, the Weber Q is awesome! I only wish I'd gotten one sooner.

If you a want/need a small grill, but one that is REAL GRILL, with good features, this grill is for you. Since I have been RVing full time, I have had several grills, and they were crap.. this grill is even heating, gets really 🔥 hot, and has accomplished every task. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with it. I added a griddle, and bacon 🥓 is super fast and tastes better than any other cooking method. Thanks Weber, for making a great product.

With the steaks grilled so far, I’m already impressed with how well this little grill performs. Even heat, great control and sturdy construction.

Great grill for the camper. Bought this to be able to connect to my RV’s propane outlet. The grill gets hot quick and evenly cooks the food I have prepared on it. This was so good I now use it at home.

I have a Weber Summit E-670. I cooked so great that I wanted a smaller one for camping. The Q1200 works so well and is so portable and convenient that I no longer use my Summit E-670. Fast forward a few years and all still working like the day it was new, I bought this Q1200 for my son (He's 11 and loves watching me cook. Now, he does it on his own! What a feeling having your 11 year old cook you hamburgers, hotdogs, and steak!). Once you experience how easy it is to take camping, boating, or picnicking with you, you'll find yourself using it even more and wonder how you've ever grilled without it. I've had cheaper grills in the past - the ones that rusted out and end up replacing more often than I'd like. I've had this one for four years now. Looks like the day it was bought and cooks the same as well. You can't beat the quality, and they come in a variety of colors - I got the green one for my son because it's his favorite colors and the green top looks like a Ninja Turtle grill to him.

Very satisfied, with the caviat that, in my case, the use is in a boat, therefore a little heavy to maneuver

We used a Weber 1200Q last year for 3 months at a 1BR condo we rented in Puerto Vallarta, MX. We are renting a 2BR this year for 3 months so I purchased my own grill at the Weber store just north of Puerto Vallarta. We are moving to a 4BR condo next year and even though this new condo has a large grill, I’m sure we’ll use the Weber Grill there most times too!

I am completely satisfied and pleased with my purchase… this little grill has the same quality as the full sized Webers, but in a transportable size - I love it.

First of all it’s Weber, which is excellent quality! It’s the perfect size, and I love that I was able to pick out a lime green dome. I love the portability, and that it’s lightweight. The grill heats up quickly and cooks my burgers or whatever perfectly. Thank you Weber. 😄🍔

Excellent choice. Always have had a natural gas grill, and where I live now there's no natural gas. Wanted to try charcoal, but for everyday grilling, that is messy and tedious. I like the simplicity of the Q1200. I let it warm up for 15 minutes. Then experiment each time to find the right time to remove the food. I say experiment because its been at least 10 years since I used a gas grill. I am getting good at cooking burgers, but steaks are a challenge, however I will succeed. The Q1200 is really great at regulating the temperature, so the challenge is just based on my experience and skills. I say if I can master the timing of the grilling, then anyone can. I like that the Q1200 is lightweight, and can be transported if desired. If you are looking for a capable grill that can handle whatever you want to grill, the Q1200 is a perfect choice!

We purchased this grill to replace a grill that came with our camper and used it on a one week trip. It is perfect. The Weber material is top notch, especially the grates. They are super easy to clean. The bbq is light so it’s easy to carry and it fits easily into a variety of places. I really like the side shelves for extra space for your utensils, spices or condiments. We have a griddle that fit perfect on the grill so were able to use the bbq for more than just grilling. The bbq is also very easy to start. Starts instantly. We love our grill.

MY FRIEND HAD ONE, AND I WAS SURPRISED HOW WELL IT BROWN, OR SEARED MEAT, ESPECIALLY A STEAK, BECAUSE I LIKE MINE RARE. I TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES ON MY BIG GAS GRILL AND COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH THE BROWNING WITHOUT COOKING IT TOO LONG. I CAN PUT IT ON FOR 21/2 MIN PER SIDE FOR A 3/4 TO 1 INCH STEAK AND IT COMES OUT PERFECT. I PREHEAT ON HIGH TO 400, THEN PUT IT ON LOW.

The Q1200 is hands down the best small grill ever And I’ve had several. I added the portable cart and it’s the perfect complement for the q1200.

Made an AWESOME London Broil on it while camping this weekend. This is the grill we bought for my Camp Kitchen. LOVE IT!!!!

I live in a small apartment and will not be here for more than a few years max, so I didn't want to buy a big grill that I'd have to move soon, but I wanted something that would last. The Q 1200 fits the bill, with the 5 gal. gas tank hose/adapter I've been grilling all summer long on my metal patio table, yet if I wanted, I can put it into my trunk and use a small camping tank on a picnic table. So far it's run like a champ, very even temps (the built in thermometer is a nice touch) and taking out and cleaning the grills in my kitchen sink is way easier than anything I've grilled on before. I'll probably get the folding stand for it at some point, but overall, it's everything I'd hoped for.

Bought this to mount on the back of our camper. It is the perfect grill and a perfect fit for my use (with a small modification).

Great little grill! I’ve had Webers for 40 years - classic charcoal kettle, Genesis gas, and now this little guy. Cooks well. Easy to set-up. Impressive, heavy, enameled grates. I got the adaptor hose so I can use a 20-lb tank. Highly recommend!

Best grill! Everything I’ve grilled so far has been cooked perfectly and tastes amazing. The Weber App has been a useful resource with recipes and tips. It’s my “go to” app for how to best grill on my Weber Q grill. Absolutely love the temperature option. Easy to clean. This grill gets 5 stars from the “just gotta grill it girl”!

I love this grill! It is amazing to me that it performs as well as a full size Weber. I bought it for camping and I m so glad I did. Burgers, dogs and chicken all were perfect. What really amazes me is how evenly it cooks. Definitely not for a large crowd, but perfect for a family. Also, it fits perfectly into a blue Ikea bag for transport. I love it!

Oil the grates before cooking chicken, we did cabob on the grill and had a hard time turning, but we also cooked pizza and did real well
