[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did my homework and again Whirlpool specs floated to the top of my list. I installed it myself and could not be happier. Super quiet and the dishes are clean and dry, what more could I want? Love the added 3rd rack at the top, something that was not on my older dishwasher and helpful for those strangely shaped utensils.

Installation was a breeze. Start up is a little noisy but once it starts the wash cycle it’s super quiet & does a great job cleaning & drying. I’ll be sticking with whirlpool for dishwashers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was told that all Whirlpool appliances are made in the USA, not so, ours was built in Canada and assembled in the USA. Our dishwasher manual gives information on USA and Canada! built a lot more cheaper than my Kenmore Elite that I had for 17 years without any failures, until the electronic circuit board died. they stopped making the part in 2017! Also it has a large metallic sticker to register the product, which I cannot remove, that doesn't make me very happy.

Runs very quietly, not a million cleaning options (that’s a good thing), the 3rd thin upper rack is handy and I really like the large capacity. The middle of the main top rack is bowed so bowls alternately lean to one side or the other which enables the water to get to all of the surface.

My parents who are in their 80s and 90s just bought this unit and within 3 months the control panel has just frozen. It’s non responsive. I’ve read the manual and did all the reset sequences including the breaker panel to cut power and nothing. It just remains all lit and frozen. How does such a new appliance fail so catastrophically in 90 days? Our KitchenAid dishwasher is over 15 years old and used almost daily. Whirlpool has a serious quality issue they need to look at.

The dishwasher does do a decent job of cleaning dishes - unlike my previous dishwasher, I can put my dirty dishes directly in without rinsing them first and they come out clean. What I do not like is the way the racks are set up. The lower rack is ok, but none of the rows are adjustable. The top rack spacing isn’t right, the angle isn’t right and nothing sits right in there. The space off to the side is angled so cups just fall over. The silverware rack doesn’t actually fit any silverware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The performance of this Whirlpool dishwasher is perfect. I only scrape the food off the dishes and they come out squeaky clean. The tall Tub prevents over crowding of the dishes and the third rack is perfect for spatulas, wooden spoons and long knives. The display of the cycle's time remaining is very helpful. Not very loud and the door has an excellent seal, I had to replace the seal on my old Maytag dishwasher twice.

I've had it for eight months. It does a very good job of getting things clean, is easy to maintain, and was easy to install. The top tray was a big selling point to me, but I had to stop using it entirely. The top tray doesn't have enough clearance from the spray arm and frequently gets jammed. I have to kneel down and contort to manually unjam it, risking another back injury. This is a major flaw that should have never gotten past QA, so I can't recommend this model.

Purchased dishwasher 1 year ago $834. The top control panel is defective as adhesive is peeling off. 3 other Reviews for this dishwasher with same issue. 1 week past Warranty, Whirlpool will not repair/send me the part for us to fix. $300 to fix? I trusted Whirlpool, will never purchase another product made by Whirlpool. We spent $2500 on a refrigerator too. About to purchase an Oven & Microwave, will be a GE. I do not recommend Whirlpool due to poor customer service. Lousy company.

Only complaint is the cycles are long and if you use the short cycle it doesn’t let you use the extra dry setting so plastics on the top shelf come out a bit wet. But it cleans great and is quiet. Overall very happy!

I love the 3 tier arrangement and I especially love the handy top tier which unexpectedly cleans my silicone spatulas so I don't have to hand wash those anymore. The flatware basket is in the main bottom tray, not in the door like the last one I have. But I find that the dishes are still easy to arrange. I was worried that the extra large baking sheets I use regularly wouldn't fit due to the 3 tier arrangement, but they do. The space in the main bottom tray is less compared to my last dishwasher with the flatware basket in the door, but I find that for those who actually use their kitchen functionally, this dishwasher is perfectly designed to wash your dishes every day without stuffing dishes in or waiting a couple of days for the dishwasher to be totally full. This dishwasher is also VERY quiet. I'm very happy with my purchase so far and hope that the mechanical part of it lasts without causing a maintenance nightmare. Too soon to tell on that.

In our new home, we replaced our old dishwasher with this new one because of the quietness of the disheasher. While it is extremely quiet (yes!!!) and washes well, it does not dry the dishes. Now I'm having to hand dry everything. With three kids under 3, this is just not feasible.

I ordered this dishwasher in march of 2022. It was working fine until I noticed that the top drawer was wobble so I called whirlpool to come in and get it fixed. Anyways they gave me an appointment for a month from the date. Okay whatever I could wait. A couple of weeks went by, the dishwasher was a little over a month old and out of no where sparks started come out from the bottom right of the machine. It started to catch fire and I lost my whole kitchen. This was truly very devastating.

This model has all the right features, does a good job of washing, and dries well. The third rack is a bonus as is the adjustable middle rack. It is fairly quiet. Not completely silent, but not very noticeable either. The door opens and shuts smoothly and with ease. It looks great! Love the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. Even the inside looks great. Operation is simple. My only tiny complaint is that it doesn't remember the last used wash settings, so they must be entered every time. Installation was reasonably doable. The instructions are okay, but not great. The illustrations are not so good. The length is a tad deeper than our old unit. It had to be shoved all the way to the back wall for the front to be flush with the countertop overhang. Overall this is looking like a good purchase. There are a lot of features packed in for this price point. Bonus that it is made in the USA. The jury is out regarding longevity, so will need several years to sort that out. In the meantime we are glad to have such a nice machine.

All of the original Whirlpool appliances in our home were to be replaced at the same time of a much needed kitchen remodel. Not familiar with washing cycles in the 3 hour range we had to read the operating instructions to verify proper use. Glad we did! Especially the caveat for using both the dishwashing detergent and rinse aid liquid. the glasses and plates look like new after each wash! The only recommendation is a slight improvement in the robustness of the 2nd level rack design. One has to be careful when pulling it out to avoid it falling out of the guiding tracks. Other than that, very happy with the dishwasher!
