This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

Beware!
In our new home, we replaced our old dishwasher with this new one because of the quietness of the disheasher. While it is extremely quiet (yes!!!) and washes well, it does not dry the dishes. Now I'm having to hand dry everything. With three kids under 3, this is just not feasible.

A nice machine with the right features
This model has all the right features, does a good job of washing, and dries well. The third rack is a bonus as is the adjustable middle rack. It is fairly quiet. Not completely silent, but not very noticeable either. The door opens and shuts smoothly and with ease.
It looks great! Love the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. Even the inside looks great. Operation is simple. My only tiny complaint is that it doesn't remember the last used wash settings, so they must be entered every time.
Installation was reasonably doable. The instructions are okay, but not great. The illustrations are not so good. The length is a tad deeper than our old unit. It had to be shoved all the way to the back wall for the front to be flush with the countertop overhang.
Overall this is looking like a good purchase. There are a lot of features packed in for this price point. Bonus that it is made in the USA. The jury is out regarding longevity, so will need several years to sort that out. In the meantime we are glad to have such a nice machine.

Glasses and plates look like new after wash!

All of the original Whirlpool appliances in our home were to be replaced at the same time of a much needed kitchen remodel. Not familiar with washing cycles in the 3 hour range we had to read the operating instructions to verify proper use. Glad we did! Especially the caveat for using both the dishwashing detergent and rinse aid liquid. the glasses and plates look like new after each wash! The only recommendation is a slight improvement in the robustness of the 2nd level rack design. One has to be careful when pulling it out to avoid it falling out of the guiding tracks. Other than that, very happy with the dishwasher!

Good use of space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for our custom home. Stylish, sleek and easy to clean the interior and exterior door after several loads. Controls are not visible when closed which is a plus. The handle is wide enough to hang a towel. Racks roll in/out with ease. The 3rd rack is ideal for tall utensils. Noise is minimal. No residue deposits. Only con is the normal cycle takes approx. 2.5 to 3 hrs to complete the cycle. Being an Energy Star rated, I would think this cycle should be no more then 1 5 hours. To reduce the run time, I select the quick wash which is about 1 hr and cleans just as good. Overall the dishwasher performance is excellent. You can't go wrong with Whirlpool! Highly recommend!
