The new unit was easily installed and has worked perfectly. It replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. The new unit is much quiter and has met our expectations. Could not ask for more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Whirlpool was great so I went with Whirlpool again. Not too happy. It was in my price range. The plastic tub doesn't shed water well and dishes remain wet. Silverware container design flawed. It allows knives to poke through unlike my old dishwasher that has a guard, (see photos). GLAD I WAS ABLE TO RETRIEVE IT BEFORE BIG TRASH PICK UP.

This dishwasher is very loud! Someone wrote in their review that the dishwasher is quite.Taking that into consideration and the low cost as well as the fact that we’ve had an old version of it we’ve decided to purchase it. It cleans ok but if looking for a whisper quite dishwasher so this is definitely NOT what are you looking for. (Didn’t even know they still making such noisy appliances!)

This is my second dishwasher. My GE broke after 20 years. I didn't want to spend too much and average is what I got. I've tried spreading out the dishes so that the entire dish gets sprayed and packing in the dishes where some parts of a dish is blocked by another dish. The results are roughly the same. I needed to do some pre-scrubbing to get food particles of the dish so that it comes out clean. It's not a lot of effort but it's not just throw it into the dishwasher either. IMHO it's relatively quiet and the dishes come out dry. Would I recommend? It depends on your expectation. If you don't mind the additional effort and spending a couple of hundred dollars less then I'd say go for it.

It has ample space for the dishes and also love the utensil holder on the bottom side rather than on the door. It’s very simple to use and for the price it was a definitely a no-brainer to purchase. GREAT PRODUCT!

I ordered this washing machine from HD and then installed it in my kitchen, which takes some work in this case, as the water and power come from below in a crawl space. After I get it all installed, what do I see? Look at the picture and you can see the gray strip between the black washer and my nice wood cabinets. Not much I can now, other than be upset at Whirlpool and HD for designing, selling, and shipping a product with this issue!

I spent months researching and reading reviews for dishwashers. I finally landed on this Whirlpool. I liked that Whirlpool are American made appliances and it had the third rack like I wanted. I have been blown away by this dishwashers performance. I am not rinsing dishes before loading them and every time they come out sparkling clean. It is very quiet and I can’t hear it running most of the time. I am so happy with my purchase. My husband thinks I am crazy because I want him to come look at the clean dishes when I open the door. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

I didn't want to spend on a higher end dishwasher because we plan on moving in a couple of years. This dishwasher has basic functions, heat dry, a four hour delay timer. The only function I miss that our previous dishwasher had was a rinse only cycle. We've only used it a handful of times since installing it but we are impressed that it is fairly quiet and does a great job of cleaning the dishes. I also did the installation which wasn't that difficult. Just make sure your cabinet opening dimensions will accommodate it. Another plus for this dishwasher is that it is made in the USA.

There is a 4 hour delay button so you can set it and forget it. And the best feature is therebis a lock button on the front so children who like to push buttons and turn it off can't. There is another 1 hour cycle button which is amazing. This dishwasher is quiet compared to my old one. !

The dishwasher is much quieter than my previous one, and I'm pleased it is Energy Star rated. When I removed the instructions/items inside, I noticed they were damp. I assumed the washer was tested before delivery. I ran the first wash the next day and saw something on the edge of the top rack that turned out to be a piece of loose plastic coating with rust beneath it. With the inside of the washer being damp on delivery and the rust spot, could this be a product that someone else has returned?

Beware! I purchased a similar Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDF540PADM3) through Home Depot in April 2021. Less than two years later, it leaked from the bottom, causing extensive flooring damage and requiring replacement of the living room, bedroom and kitchen floor. Needless to add, massive disruption to home life for a few weeks. The service technician sent by Whirlpool identified the heater connected to the inlet as the cause of the problem. Very bad design flaw! I would never again purchase a Whirlpool appliance.

This my second dish washer within three years and the installation of the plumbing lines was incorrect. The picture shows the clamped hose which impeded water flow thus creating a clog. This can cause damage to the motor and cause it to burn out. This is what happened to my previous dishwasher install and had to spend anther $700 to buy another one. The installation guys used a hose which was the wrong size of tube and to attempt to fix it they clamped it down so hard it created a clog.BE WARNED
