Very intuitive to begin using right away; easy and safe access to controls; and enough adjustments to handle any cooking or baking task. I am extremely pleased with this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our new build 2 years ago. Specifically wanted the controls at the front so no lip on the back. LOVE IT! Love the design. All things have been as expected and no issues. If I were to have one critique it's that I've had to replace the light bulb twice already. No, I don't forget about it and leave it on. It is REDICULOUS to get the cover off. My husband has to get the tool he uses on automobiles to grab filters and such. Other than that, works like a charm.

I’ve owned this range for about 6 weeks now, and although I am generally happy with it, there is room for improvement. First of all, when installing the range, be aware that there are some VERY SHARP areas of metal on the back of the unit, particularly near the bottom. These are unfinished edges of metal that are sharp enough to slice your fingers open. I noticed this when working in back to install the power cord (not included). My advice would be to wear a pair of leather work gloves when installing the range. The burners work well, and the pressure-sensitive control panel requires a reasonable pressure to operate the controls. It is not touch sensitive like the capacitive touch screen of a tablet computer. Whirlpool has chosen to place the two large burners at the front of the range, instead of having one up front, and the other diagonally across from it in the back. I prefer to have one large burner in back, so if I have something simmering for a lengthy cook time, I don’t need to tie up a front burner. Both large burners are dual-zone units, but they default to the smaller burner every time they are turned off. It’s very annoying, as I almost always use the large burners with a large pot or pan. If you forget to switch it to the larger burner, you’ll wonder why your food is taking a long time to heat. The cooktop also lacks an “all burner off” button that I had on another cooktop, which instantly turns off all the burners when you are done cooking. With the Whirlpool, you have to turn off each burner individually, an inconvenience. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase, but I think Whirlpool could have done better.

I have had this stove for less then one year and the front panel looks terrible. The black paint is coming off in several sections. We are extremely careful not to hit it or pull cookware over it because we saw how delicate it is but it is still getting worse and worse. Now all 4 of the inside edges of the black panel that surround the keypad is also peeling for no reason because noting hits it there. If this is the result of normal cleaning it's completely unacceptable especially at this price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I learned how to get the element to fit the pan, we were off to the races on the stove top. Not not not a fan of the lip in front of the elements. Been using this stove two weeks and it’s scratched all to heck. I think a man designed that and not a cook. Oven is very strange. If I up the temp during the baking process, the display says the temp is 50 degrees less than before I hit the up button to increase temp. Going to rely on internal thermometer from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my range but, I have discovered while taking pots on and off and when I have placed cookie sheets on baking pans on top, that it is wearing the paint off the front of the lip.

This stove does a great job at cooking evenly and gets the job done. Unfortunately the display screen broke early on, see picture. This makes setting the temperature for over near impossible. And scratches very easy, see picture.

We wanted the absolute best appliance package our builder would provide and this stove is what came with it. At first I thought my kids were splashing food on the back wall and then we decided to broil something for dinner and there it was....the stove is actually cooking the wall. When the appliance company came out, they called Whirlpool and was told that that is where the heating element is and to get a backsplash. Never in my life have I had a stove do this....now I worry about my house burning down every time I cook. It is a very uneasy feeling and really disappointing.

Sleek and sexy. So easy to clean. Note it has no controls on the back. So backsplash will be needed.

I bought this oven to replace my slide in whirlpool Gold oven. My cabinets and formic@ where designed around the whirlpool gold oven There are gaps between my for my formica and my oven now Are there any trim kits or anything, to fill the gap?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove about 2 months ago and have been very pleased with it's performance. It's sleek and beautiful. The cook-top heats quickly and the oven works well. I haven't had any problems keeping the cook-top clean as other reviewers have mentioned. I do wish the drawer at the bottom were heavier -- seems kind of cheap -- but I don't use it much so it's fine. Very pleased with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range works very well but the ceramic Cooktop does not come very clean. Marks are left which appears under the glass. The top is very smooth but this smear mark remains visible.

Digital display going out after 18 months, Whirlpool doesn't care. I've had $300 ranges perform better.

I bought this oven a little over a year ago, i just cleaned it for the first time with the self cleaning cycle. It caught on fire inside. I am a single guy, this thing was used maybe 3 times MAX. I used the lowest setting, there was no real debris inside the oven, it just needed a good heat up before i baked a cake for thanksgiving. That isn’t happening now. Waiting on the door latch to release so i can get the Serial number and call this thing in. What a scary thing to happen, thank god i was down stairs!

This range was in the house we purchased a year ago, and we haven’t had the greatest luck. The burners are very inconsistent and don’t cool fast enough, making food boil over. The oven seems to run hot and leads to burning food. And recently we’ve been noticing a black burn-looking mark on our stone backsplash. The spot pictured gets very, very hot and we’re a little worried this could lead to a fire. Not sure why it’s doing this, but if anyone has any ideas on what is causing this/how to fix it, we’d be all ears!

This stove is less than 1 month old and there are scratches on the plastic. I would like to know how or if this can be repaired or replaced

Love the different size options on the 2 burners. The stove is also super quick. I’ve always had glass tops so I will always recommend those. So easy to clean. Great range, easy to install & looks so sleek.
