Not Maytag qualify for sure but does the job. Motor makes a whining sound. Filters will not catch any foreign objects inadvertently left in pockets. They will go straight into the mechanism Otherwise it’s an ok product. Doubt it will last five years like my Maytag washer which has been performing flawlessly since1983!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new dryer for a month and so far I’m happy with its performance.

So far so good. A lot lighter than the 25 year old Kenmore it replaced, but everything is built lighter and cheaper these days. Kenmore and Whirlpool are basically the same other than cosmetic differences. Surprisingly, after 25 years not much of a difference in design between the old and the new other than the controls layout and the weight of the construction. The auto dry could be improved. The 25 year old Kenmore did a better job of having clothes fully dry at the end of the cycle than this new one does. This is an issue other reviewers have commented on. Nothing is built to last like the old, so time will tell how it holds up, but so far so good. Satisfied overall at this point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had Maytag washer & dryer for the past 24 years ( original purchase)/ They finally gave out and I had to replace both. I bought another Maytag washer, which is noisy ( my old one it was hard to determine when it was on). Then I found out Whirlpool had bought up Maytag....what a disappointment. So when my dryer gave it up a year later, I purchased the Whirlpool, knowing that the longevity of the new products would not last as long as my Maytags. I am pretty satisfied with the dryer, except for the door open from the top, and the lint filter also not in the door like my Maytag was.

Great machine and decent price. The only negative I have was the delivery experience. It was terrible. I wish I rented a truck and did it myself. I marked poor customer service but I think it’s dumb company policy to not inform customers that getting deliveries are at becking call of delivery company. Delivery company sucks. They didn’t come the first attempt and they didn’t tighten the exhaust and it was off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with my new dryer. It's drum is much bigger than any dryer I've had, so sheets and other large items have fewer wrinkles. Still learning all the different settings that can be used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Maytag gas dryer a couple months ago. It is a basic model that does the job I need. I appreciate the fold down door, as opposed to a door that opens to the right or left. It allows me to empty the dryer contents into my laundry basket with fewer items falling on the floor. I am pleased with my purchase.
