I so wanted to love this rug. Unfortunately after only a week of having it, it got incredibly dingy and dirty and we don't even wear shoes in our house so I'm not sure what happened. We have a roomba running daily every morning as well and still couldn't keep it from turning dingy. It's absolutely beautiful rug when you first open it and place it down, but in a matter of no time the beauty fades :(

Exactly as pictured, very white- blown away by the quality. I have been looking for a rug like this and this is the cheapest I found so I wasn't sure what to expect quality wise but have been really impressed. The threads are silky and shiny and give off a nice sheen. Also there was literally no shedding of this rug, I would have expected to be picking up threads daily. Even my rumba glides over it perfectly. It is not a true 8x10 so double check the description and your measurements before ordering, I have the 6x9 as well and it is actually 6x9. If you are looking for something like this, try this one you wont be disappointed.

Worst Rug Ever
I’ve had this carpet for about 6 months now and it sheds everywhere. Be prepared to have this little rug whiskers ALL over the house. These things show up everywhere. They end up on the stairs, upstairs room(s), even in our couch and clothes (not exaggerating). DO NOT BUY unless you are prepared to sweep or vacuum the rest of the house everyday.

It is very common for shag rugs to shed throughout the lifetime of the rug. We recommend raising the beater bar height on the vacuum or removing the beater bar and using the lowest suction setting on the vacuum.

I'm sorry that you're not happy with your rug! New synthetic rugs can have a "new rug smell" when they are first opened, and the strength can vary depending on the rug. This is a normal process known as off-gassing, and the smell should dissipate within a week or so. If needed, air out your rug either outdoors or in a well-ventilated room.

A fun and bold rug
Arrived quick. Has a slight smell when first opened, but Im sure will subside over time. It is a charcoal gray color with silver shine that gives it a "glam" look. Texture is not like a "fur" or silky, but more long threads. No padding or cushion within rug. Seem to be more for the look, not comfort. Not sure if the opinional padding for non slip will help with cushioning. Currently I dont not have any non slip, bit seems to stay in place well.

Shedding
This rig sheds a whole lot after a year.. there are white threads everywhere in my home. I’m not happy about this purchase for the long haul. It’s also hard to vacuum.
