I’ve only had this less than a month but the edges have already started fraying.

I was very excited for this rug to arrive, however, once I laid it out on the floor, I immediately noticed there were lots of hard fiber sticks coming out here and there. Some of them are really stiff and sharp (see second picture.) I’m pretty sure you will get injured if you step on it. I have a dog and she likes running around in the house so I’m really worried if she might get injured soon. I really want to return it but it’s such a hassle to wrap this huge thing up and send back. I don’t recommend this rug at all especially if you have kids and/or pets.

I purchased this jute to layer beneath another smaller rug. I heard jute rugs tend to be very messy and dusty, so I added a good quality pad to place underneath the jute. So far so good! The padding adds nice, soft cushioning as well. I haven’t had any issues with dust.

Nice jute rug. Great texture and underfoot feel. Seems it will be a durable and long-lasting rug. I have it in my dining room.

I love the rug but the Blue appeared much lighter online…it is really a dark navy in person…the Navy Blue must be almost black.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice rug. However the photos online of the “blue” rug are very different from the actual rug. Based on website photos, I expected a more turquoise blue rug. However, the rug is actually a dark blue.

It was in a dirty plastic bag that looked like it has been through war.. as soon as I opened the bag there was the dirty edges along with a terrible smell. I hated it immediately so I retuned it.

Love the sage color. Tried to order the blue but received navy instead, so ordered sage because the navy was too dark. Giving 4 stars only because there are some pieces in the rug that are sharp (because it’s a natural jute rug) that you have to sort of pull up and tuck under other pieces. Overall really happy with the sage color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy quality that feels great under our feet. I didn’t know just how much difference it would make to layer it under a cowhide we have (both over hardwood) and it feels like the missing piece to our living room.

I bought this last month to use under our dining table. Initially it looked good, but over the past few weeks of use, the chair legs moving have pulled up the weaves. Now the rug looks like it’s coming apart already. It’s probably fine under normal foot traffic, just don’t use it under dining chairs.

Even better than I hoped for! The quality of this rug is amazing and the price was the best I found.

Ordered the blue and absolutely love it! it is a very substantial rug and works well under our kitchen table. It's not super soft under your feet (that wasn't a priority for me), but it's fine even with bare feet. I think this rug would work well in any high traffic/highly used area/

WOW! This rug is high quality, looks great and is huge. It’s super thick which I love but it does feel a little uncomfortable when you’re barefoot. I’ll take that though to have this gorgeous rug!

We are returning this rug. It feels like a burlap sack and is really slippery on a laminate floor. The reviews we read said it was soft and comfortable. It is not!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is attractive and even without a rug pad (14 ft) stays in place on a hardwood floor. I personally believe it doesn’t work for my style but if it’s your style I would say it’s a great deal. It does shed too much for my taste but it’s jute so I guess jute is not for me. It feels fine underfoot and appears it will last a decent amount of time. It’s just too casual for my taste but it is a quality item.

This rug would be great for someone looking to add texture and an organic feel (okay with some imperfection here and there) Overall would recommend it!

The kids spend most of their time on the rug than our comfy couch! It definitely brightened our space a lot and I have been receiving a lot of positive feedback. The tassels are very pretty too! It shed in the beginning, as expected but after that, everything is good!

Love the rug but not all of the knots that come undone, at least 20. I just returned it yesterday. Customer Service has been great, they are sending a new one. Fingers crossed it was just a fluke with that rug.

Great rug, and great quality, you won’t be disappointed. We ordered the grey and love it. Texture is a little rough and scrstchy on bare feet, but not a deal breaker for us.

It really is chunky and thick. Love it. Will need a mat under it to prevent sliding. The color is just a shown. Really happy with this purchase

I love this rug! It so far has not shed, and is in the heaviest traffic area in our hous if 10!!

Rug was damp when delivered. It arrived in a bag and you could see the condensation all over it. Because of this, it has a musty/mildewy smell. I expected the jute to have a natural smell.. but this isn’t it. It smells stale. Luckily we live in Florida so the rug has been sitting in the hot sun for 2 days airing out. The smell has subsided some but I’m still hesitant to bring it inside. It’s also very rough- not comfortable on your feet at all. I bought it to add some texture to our living room so I’ll probably have to buy another rug to layer on top. A lot of work just to use this rug in our home. Overall pretty disappointing.

I purchased this rug in dark blue. It brightened and softened my guest bedroom/office.
