[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this rug with high hopes as I really needed a 4x4 for my entry way and thought that a Jute rug would do the job. When it arrived I noticed that there was a very distinct dirty smell, the quality also was poor when I looked at the rug up close- they had chosen to add little stitches to hold the larger threads together but they had chosen super light bright thread that didn't really go with the vibe of the rest of the rug. I think any Jute rug would probably come with a little bit of a stale smell but when I put it in my entry way it literally made my entire entry way smell like freshly laid mulch. Bummer!

Best to vacuum before use to get rid of the jute chunks. Once that process done, you will enjoy this rug. Look and feel, the best i could have purchased.

this rug was lovely. Within weeks I realized it was STAINING the carpet underneath an ugly, gross black. The dye bleeds off this rug and will destroy your flooring. Beware. Company was unable to refund, and obviously I’ll need new carpet.

The runner was back ordered for months and when I finally received it…the fringe does not match the other rug. Same brand, same name, same style, zero fringe color choice. Needless to say…I am not happy. Should have consistency that customer can rely on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 6' round rug for under my dining table and it looks exactly how I hoped. I didn't notice any weird coloration, fraying, or stitching issues like some of the other reviews mentioned. I also haven't noticed any major shedding, but it just sits under my table and isn't in a high traffic area. My only complaint is that it smelled like mildew when I opened it. Like it had been sitting in a damp warehouse for a while. I let it air out outside in the sun and the smell was gone within a couple hours. For the price, this is a great rug and I don't have any regrets about my purchase.

The rug looks decent (from a distance), and I like the color and texture, but the edge treatment is terrible. A band of braided material has simply been sewn on top of the raw edge to conceal it. If you look at the rug from the side, you can see the frayed ends with a braid on top. This treatment also means I cannot flip the rug over, which is always a nice option.

Would not recommend to anyone with pets or small children because of the shedding and loose weave. It is also more yellow than the pictures represent, so I ended up white-washing it. Before taking it out of the packaging, I could see that the border was already pulling away from the rug (pictures available). I whip stitched this to prevent full separation. All-in-all, I got what I paid for. It’s an inexpensive rug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a 10ft round rug for our dining g room and this rug delivered! It has beautiful text and color. It has worn so well with no shedding. The braiding has held up well too and hasn’t come apart at all. We have had this rug for a year now and plan to have it here for more years to come!

Avoid this rug. Rough, won’t lay down fully, covered in it removable shipping stickers. Return system broken and not worth the hassle. I’m avoiding this company all together.

This is exactly what you should expect your rug to look like based on the description. The braided jute rug is very attractive and soft on the feet. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5-star rating is that there are a couple of spots where the stitching is loose and coming undone. However it’s an easy fix and this was a good buy for the price.

I’ll be returning this tomorrow. I’ve had this rug just over a week and lifted it to clean around and noticed it stained my less than a year old carpeting. Even after shampooing and the water coming out black from the dye, it still didn’t come out. I’m furious and this rug isn’t even close to worth the $300 I paid for it.

My main disappointment in this rug is that there are blue ink stains (possibly from the branding on the plastic it was wrapped in). I tried to find a way to hide these spots, but the stains are visible no matter how I position the rug (including flipping it over). If the rug came without these spots, the rug would meet my expectations for it being a good-looking and quality enough rug for its low price.

The rug would be great if it was actually a circle. Clearly something happened at the end of making it to have the edge of one side come out totally uneven.

Really like this rug! Wanted something light for my dark floors and this is it. It was inexpensive and fits perfectly in my dining room. It's soft and I think will last a long time. I vacuumed it right after placing it on the floor because of course my dog tracked on dirt! :) It vacuumed well and didn't pull any of the loops as I've had with other jute rugs. Very, very pleased!

I absolutely love this rug, EXCEPT the seams split within 24 hours of me putting on my floor. Super frustrating
