Leah at the Pro counter was amazing! So friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and informative. Great service!

I generally found what I was looking for, however, I had the worst experience with Sonia at the customer service/returns desk. Sonia was rude and disrespectful...it's ironic she was put at the customer service desk when she seems to lack any customer service skills. Other employees at Home Depot have been much more professional, but one bad experience can have a significant influence on an overall experience.

The Home Depot in Pleasanton has a great associate name William at the Pro Desk who goes the extra mile to ensure the customers are taken care of. Very concerned about upholding the Home Depot standards of Customer Satisfaction. I am a witness to the fact. I purchased a Graco Sprayer that was supposed to be a New Unit, but obviously it had been returned by someone else. The box was sealed, so I assumed that it was New. Got to the jobsite only to be perturbed that my New unit was Used with paint all over it. Called the same store to complain about this terrible situation and somehow got William on the line. I let him have it for a minute because I could not leave the jobsite to return the sprayer. An hour later William shows up at the jobsite with an actual New, never used, Sprayer, and made all of my troubles go away. I was Simply Floored. The best demonstration of Customer Service I have Ever Received and I have been a contractor for 25 years. William really hit it Out of The Park!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodney from the flooring/blinds department was completely rude and dismissive. I went in to get blinds, yes he was with a customer at the time and told he'd be with me after. I waited in line for 5 minutes before he acknowledged me even though he saw me walk up. Another customer approached the area after me and he was able to ask his question right away. I waited 15 minutes for him to finish up with the customers who he was helping at first. Another customer came up and he helped him even though I was there first. I waited another 10 minutes for him to help this new customer. When he was done with him, he was about to help another customer before me. I had to cut him off and let him know that I was still waiting for assistance. Sooooo disappointed with Rodney's lack of concern for me and what I needed.

Poor service and no products on the shelves. Can't find what you bought there just months before and the managers are no help either

Cathy Stoik in the cabinet department is amazing! She is knowledgeable, professional, and talented. I probably was not the easiest customer to please but she went above and beyond to help me design the kitchen of my dreams. She is very patient and will work to help make your vision a reality.

Home Depot associates refuse to acknowledge customers in their stores, its like we aren't there or they are so busy they can't help. it appears as tho all associates act like this, tells me this could be upper mgmt driven. this has been going on well before covid-19, so no excuse. and its not just this store its all store i go to,

It is a family warmly store, people love you everyday.

@HomeDepot, hire "undercover boss" and go experience what it's like to shop at your store. You'll be rudely awakened by the employees. There are some wonderful employees but few and far between. The majority are rude, unhelpful and misinformed.

I found the store employees very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy shopping at Home Depot, both in the store and online, they ahve everything you need for building and home maintenance.

Meredith has the best customer service ever. She goes above and beyond.

Since I live between several hardware/building supply stores I have the option of shopping at other stores but the Pleasanton HD store is my "Go-To" store because the store is well stocked with good products. The store is clean and the employees are helpful.

USE CAUTION when entering this store! You cannot keep 6 foot distance as recommended by CDC in this store! Employees approach you without regard for 6 foot distance and some do not wear their mask (it was under their chin and both mouth and nose were fully exposed). Aisles were too crowded with merchandise to move past people while maintaining 6 foot distance. Exit was blocked at self-checkout. No way to move past people unless you did not keep 6 feet apart.

Item are price pretty fairly reasonable, and for the most part employees direct you to the right place at least if they cant help.

Store was good - - normal HD. Service from Marilyn in Paint Dept this time and her service in Customer Service previous visit was outstanding. She should be promoted + receive a raise. During both visits I've interacted with her, she went above and beyond to help me get what I needed. She even delivers great service at closing time when many employees would try to rush to get store closed for the day.

We had the best experience EVER on Saturday, 02/29/2020 in our local Pleasanton, CA Home Depot. We received one on one customer care by employee James Fountain in the closet door area of our local Home Depot. He showed us examples of products, gave us extremely helpful information for colors, measurements and cost analysis with our options. He was helpful, informative, realistic with our budget, personable and knowledgeable about the product vendor and options. He is a fantastic employee who was informative, but not overly talkative and gave us comparrisons, suggestions and gave us an overall 5 star customer service experience. He is the example of what excellent customer service is and should always be in a retail store.

The store employees are friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend the garden center, it well stocked and well maintained, also the kitchen center is well represented, and the sales staff is wonderful.

We live in Mountain House and regularly visit Tracy HomeDepot, but today as I was coming from office went to Pleasanton Home Depot and customer service from an elderly person "TERESA" (Cashier) has been extremely positive and I conveyed my "Thank you" to her. She is so kind in assisting me for buying Chains / guided me to the location / pro-actively anticipated and requested for chain cutting help etc. Pls. do convey "Thank you" to her from my side and also Merry Christmas to her.

Its hit or miss with how helpful and friendly associates are at this store. Sometimes they help and talk but sometimes they pretend you (the customer!) don't exist.

Typical Home Depot ridiculously long lines and a lack of staff to address the issue. But this store was pretty clean and well stocked.
