I forgot to mention Donna was my Cashier when taking the Survey.

I was able to find the products that I was looking for easily. I was able to get assistance today. Normally it is hard to find an employee and get assistance at this store.

San Ramon store is a much better store then Pleasanton store. The stock is much better and staff is more knowledgeable.

Home Depot valued my business - especially gardening section employee Theresa. With a cheerful face and sincerity, she kept me and my friend completely at ease when we had to get certain custom pots with specific colors that were not within reach. I would happily shop here knowing that I am valued here.

Help me get the right low cost power screw drive and save money

Ana is so helpful in Garden department of Home Depot. She taught me how to use the trimmer and wire the string into the spoon step by step. She is so detailed and patient with me so that I I learned how to use it and bought the tool. I like her and the store!

No point in bothering to try to order window coverings from this store. Whoever is supposed to come and measure your windows does not call to schedule a time. Even after paying the $50 for the service.

I was reluctant to make the drive out to the Pleasanton HD. My thinking was "why drive 20 min. to have a negative experience with rude people when I can do it in 7? This store is a delight within which to shop. Colorful, bright, clean, well stocked. The employees are approachable and helpful. If you are a 'DIY' person, you could do no better that drive to this store. As I said, I don't live here and it is well worth the drive to get supplies and assistance from people who actually ASK if they can help!!! HA! You won't be disappointed.

Excellent selection of refrigerators at a competitive price. The sales associate was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. When I didn't see the appliance I wanted on display in the store, Pandora checked the catalog for a much greater selection, and I found exactly what I wanted. The delivery service was terrific, and I am very happy with my new Amana refrigerator!

Paul was very knowledgeable about my special order windows and called me at home to give me answers to questions he researched. Don't forget to see the cashier with her moms cowboy boots. Very cheerful for so early in the morning.

Cashier was friendly and very helpful! One of the employees (I wish I had gotten his name) was exceptional as he walked me to the aisle I needed and actually looked for the product for me that I needed to buy and explained to me how to get the instructions so I could complete the task I was trying to accomplish which is to rescreen a window screen. Exceptional young man and thank you!

The store was clean. Online pickup was fast and Mimi helped me with my order. John was friendly in the parking lot. Jacky in garden was fun to talk to. The associates were friendly and helpful.

This store may be more suitable more to contractors as the floors are only covered in concrete and are not filled with young kids or girls not knowing anything about hardware. Unlike the other blue big box store that is in town. The only thing HD would need to match the only benefit of the other big box store, Is to put some white tile in throughout the store. This store seems to find the retired or out of work contractors in the area. Having contractors that know what they're doing and are working in a hardware store is an asset. I guess if you're a housewife and you want to take your kids to a hardware store along with the baby stroller and armful full of kids. The other big box store would be the place to go to. As they do not have much traffic keep, they are able to keep in clean as the first day that opened. As it's just a display case there showing products that will appeal to the housewife. As they do not have the resources to compete with the contractors. Shirley they may have a couple of good knowledgeable individuals there that can answer the hard questions about construction. But you really need to be looking to be there the day and time that those individuals are there. As they are not able to cover every shift with knowledgeable individuals of each department. I guess if you are a housewife you are looking for something like that? The contractors are not going to come in the store unless the local HD is out of something. I guess if your going to be a warehouse, you should be honored to be a backup warehouse for Home Depot. That is if you do not have 10 minutes to go to the next closest Home Depot. Most contractors don't care where they're getting the product from. As long as the price is right, the product is good, the service is good, and the resources are there. Fortunately, Home Depot has all these boxes checked.

I received expert, helpful advice from Jim in plumbing several times as I've worked on installing a new kitchen sink, plumbing, disposal, and instant hot water device. He's made the project very do-able and enable me to complete it successfully. Depot also carries all the options I've needed to complete this project.
