Please note, the Luminaire Retractable Screen Door is only available in adjustable widths of 32 - 36 inches and heights of 78, 80 and 84 inches. Please note, you can adjust the screen track to smaller opening. There is no width limit as long as you are satisfied with the operation of the unit. A:  Thank you for your question. We apologize regarding the screen. The screen mesh is designed to release from the tracks to prevent tearing or stretching if pushed on. To reinsert, place the edges of the screen into the tracks and then slowly close the insect screen completely. Once closed, open the insect screen to reset. If the steps didn't resolve the issue, a replacement screen housing is needed. We would like you to note that the screen housing has a 5 years Limited Warranty.
