This product can be mounted in a wall if mounted 8 feet or more above the floor. The damper should point up. A:  For quiet and efficient operation, long life, and attractive appearance on the AERN8780K, - lower or remove spring loaded grille and vacuum interior of unit with the dusting brush attachment. The motor is permanently lubricated and never needs oiling. If the motor bearings are making excessive or unusual noises, replace the blower assembly (includes motor and impeller). Use some caution when lowering the grille, and be sure the power is OFF. A:  you might have to use a vaccum or a air pistol gun. But you can also use a basic swiffer brush.

A:  The AERN80K is not a continuous operating exhaust fan. You may want to view the following models: AE50110DC, and QTXE1110150DC. These units offer different CFM settings, and these unit have continuous operation.

A:  Ours is on a switch but we need to check all switches because it is so quiet

A:  The AERN110K doesn't use any glass. It doesn't have a light. The grille measures 12-1/4" x 12-1/4"

A:  Initially not happy as the wiring harness was not suitable for the LED/ infrared light I had purchased prior. A quick call to the company and the correct wiring harness was sent to me free of charge. Works perfectly now, easy fix in switching out the harness even after installation. Very happy!

A:  The AERN110K should accommodate a thicker ceiling. We would encourage you to review the retrofit installation section. it will indicate that the installer must bend the ears flat against the housing to get the extra depth. A:  The AERN80K offers a pair of flanges that may be attached to housing if desired or required. The SnapFit Flange Kit provides a self-trimming finish to cover a rough cut.
