Q:Does removing the cross bar actually separate the ground from the neutral? I noticed the threaded holes for a separate ground bar kit is very close to the neutral bar. I would prefer to remove the cross bar if technically acceptable. Thank you

    A:  Yes it will. I no longer have this panel as I installed it at a clients house, but listed on the 100 amp main breaker of a GE panel it accepts a wire gauge range from 4- 1/0
