A:  please do not remove the mesh as it keeps the tiles in place until they are installed. Install with the mesh imbedded in to the mortar bed.

A:  There is no need for concern with the finished product. The prop 65 warning applies to the cutting, grinding, etc. of the tile. This is where the health concern comes into affect. When cut or ground, tiles can expose you to airborne particles of respirable size which are known to cause cancer. For more information go to ​www.P65Warnings.ca.gov​.

A:  Glass drill bit. Try that one at the smallest then go bigger

A:  use a glass drill bit, use lots of water and do not force the issue. take your time and let the drill bit do its job. Try a piece that isn't installed first to get the hang of it.

A:  Nominal size is 2"4". Just like in lumber, this piece is not exactly a 2x4.

A:  My contractor bought a silver end trim to finish off the cut edges. It looks fantastic.

A:  most 3\16 gapped mossaics require a 5mm spacer.

A:  The size spacers needed is about 1/16.
