Questions and Answers for Online Orchards Dwarf Bartlett Pear Tree Bare Root

A:  Bartlett pears don?t require another tree to pollinate but it will increase harvest amount.

A:  I’ve bought several trees from Home Depot I found it easier to return the dead ones in a black plastic garbage bag. Any fruit tree needs to establish itself and unless you purchase a more mature fruit tree you will need to wait about two to three years before it produces fruit. And be prepared for squirrels to steal and insect to infest your fruit tree 

A:  Mine is located in zone 5 Illinois and has been growing for years producing fruit. I do fertilize and I treat it for aphids and spray it myself before fruit is present 

A:  I just picked one up in Pomona, CA and I'm also in 9b. The only issue I foresee is the tree getting enough chill hours. However, I assumed since it is sold locally it has a decent chance.

A:  The only root it had was 1/4 inch around and about 4 inches long. Just worried that it won't survive with little rootstock.
