Questions and Answers for Orbit H2O-Six Rotating 6-Pattern Gear-Drive Sprinkler on Zinc Spike

A:  The setting are at the bottom you can move them more left or more right, or move them in more left and or right 

A:  The gears move as the water passes through. Use the tabs to set the area, turn to the type of stay you want. That’s it. Do t forget to attach to hose and turn on water. 

A:  You can set the nozzle to several spray types so that plus varying the water pressure is bound to do the trick.

A:  Hi, The sprinkler can be adjusted and spray at any angle. Adjust the tabs at the bottom of the sprinkler to gate the nozzle in the desired direction.

A:  Not made wrong, you have to adjust the direction, then form of spray. And yes you will get wet, enjoy it, it’s Summer

A:  The second one that is capped is so you can daisy chain the sprinklers together, if it leaks it may need a new gasket or possibly the cap is broken. I would start with a new gasket first and see 9f that solves the problem.

A:  I have many and have not had this issue. Maybe try plumbers tape. 

A:  I would try and replace the washer inside of the leaky one. 99% of the time that is the problem, simple fix. If you don't know the size, just take it to HD and they will find you the right one.

A:  Yes, however; I would say out the front. As noted in the picture the opposite end of the hose connection comes with a black cap installed. Removal will allow connection of another hose. To elaborate: the sprinkler has two hose connections one male & one female.

A:  The sprinklers I purchased did not have duel inputs. I attached a 'y' fitting to the end of the main supply garden hose and attached two shorter hoses to run to the sprinklers. With a few adjustments both sprinklers provided good coverage over a 20' x 30' area.

A:  Is "daisy chain" short for connect?

A:  Yes you can, have done several times and works well

A:  Yes. As you can see in the illustrations, the black end cap opposite where you attach the primary hose can be removed to allow attachment of a secondary hose to another sprinkler.

A:  Yes, I have two set-up at our lake house on a timer (connected together)

A:  This sprinkler needs at least 30PSI to activate.

A:  ??, not sure but it’s a great sprinkler! 

A:  It has a variety of settings so you can constrict the water to go further. If the pressure is low. 

A:  I think I understand your question. The output can’t be reduced as much as it changes the diffusion so it doesn’t go as far. Not sure if that answers your question or not. 

A:  For these Orbit Gear drive sprinklers, you can use the different nozzle patterns to adjust the distance in the spray. You can choose between small, medium, and large nozzle patterns.

A:  I would say 20-30ft depending on water pressure.  Gear driven are the way to go 

A:  I never measured it, but I estimate it to be about 30 ft. Water pressure will impact the distance. 

A:  Depending on your water pressure. But on average about 30 feet.

A:  The distance of the spray will depend on the water PSI that the sprinkler is receiving.

A:  It is possible. You would need to check the inside mechanism to see if the return spring is attached and and the clogs are aligned and not missing a tooth. I had this happened once when I pushed the stoppers on the side passed their range.
