I got this sprinkler the other day hoping it would fill the need of watering fall seeding without having to reinstall in-ground sprinklers in a new landscape. Unfortunately within an hour it stopped oscillating. No information on a fix available. Too bad the packaging is gone otherwise I would return it. Now someone has to move it every 15-20 minutes. What a hassle.

Sprinkler will simply stop rotating without warning which is what I thought the "gear driven" mechanism was supposed to prevent. Could not find any trouble shooting info online for this particular model.

The metal spike broke in half after two months.

I bought 8 of these a couple months ago. I created zones with two heads per zone and cut lengths of hose to essentially create an above-ground irrigation system. I will tell you I have never been more satisfied in a sprinkler in my life, and I’ve had MANY over the years. I use the “small” setting which covers a great deal of lawn when two heads are in the same zone. All the possible settings and adjustments make these sprinklers the best in the market.

Have two of these and they work great.

Did I like how it works? yes, it is easy to set up, and easy to select the type of spray. However is very weak, it is easily damaged by a nylon weed trimmer the part that breaks is the position selector. The lesson is, do not buy it if you think that you will use a weed trimmer near it.

I purchased four of these and a couple of timers. I am determined to not let my yard die in the summer heat this year. These sprinklers can be daisy-chained together but I only have one per hose. The end cap needs to be tightened before use though as it leaks straight from the store. The settings are easy to use to get the desired coverage. I especially like that I can set the limits to keep the water on the lawn and not on the sidewalk. Short of installing an underground system, these are a good option to keep the grass green through the summer.

Good quality, solid and customizable

I bought 6 of these for a lawn renovation that I did this fall. I had quite a bit of area to cover. Some parts weren't easy due to the layout of my driveway and garage. This Orbit sprinklers worked like a charm. They gave me multiple options to completely cover the area and not waste water. As a result I got some real nice germination from the grass seed that I planted. The best part about the sprinkler is that you get multiple settings options. And from those options you get 3 other options to make the sprayer a small, medium or large stream of water. Excellent product and a lot of bang for your buck!

I have 5 of these, 2 inline and 3 on their own, the double and 2 others hooked to a Melnore 4 way manifold. By tilting, I can water my entire back yard with 2, and the half the front, and side with 2 more. The stand alone does half the front. With the almost infinite settings covering an area is easy. I can run all4 from one spot, no more moving sprinklers,this a great product! .

I love this sprinkler. It is the best sprinkler I have owned in my 70 years. It is easy to adjust and has a great number of settings. Finally, the gear drive is quiet.

This sprinkler has numerous spray patterns to fit most situations. I have owned one for over a year and just bought a second so I didn't have to keep moving the sprinkler between my front and back yard. The only thing keeping it from receiving a 5 Star rating is the spike. It's a soft metal and easily bends, even in my soil that has no rocks. The good news is that it hasn't snapped off yet, I'm sure I wouldn't be so lucky if I had rocky soil.

All features. I like everything so far. Had them 3weeks to 1 month Meets my expectations.

This sprinkler is easy to adjust to your specifications, can be adjusted to cover a small area or a large area like I needed. You can also adjust spray nozzle to different types. First I tried the oscillating type sprinkler and it would get stuck and not move and the pressure would go from high to low without any water being used in the house. Not a problem with this one. Just stick it in the ground, attach a hose and adjust to your needs. I also bought the Orbit timer and I leave both in place for daily watering. New grass seed has come up wonderfully!

I absolutely hate myself for just driving to Home Depot this afternoon and buying another one of these sprinklers! So why did I do it? Because I really like the sprinkler, the patterns are a perfect match for my yard, big areas and tiny areas and it MISTS FLOWER BEDS REALLY WELL! B U T, and that is a big B U T, it isn't made very well, this is my THIRD one, the other two broke, one just quit going back and forth and the other literally exploded just above the setting rings and shot a stream of water 15 feet into the air which I didn't notice for over an hour, flooding my flower bed, plastic pieces were lying all around the spike. Yes, they leak a bit, they don't last very long, they feel a bit fragile and getting a look inside one (an opportunity afforded me by the one that exploded) I see a SUPER SKINNY plastic pin that actuates the back and forth that looks like it would break in a stiff wind. "IF" this sprinkler were better thought out, made entirely of brass, and cost $100, I would likely buy it, I like it that much. But as-is, it is too expensive to be this fragile and un-reliable. We'll see how my third one holds up, three in less than two seasons. So, there ya go..;

Excellent water coverage of a large area, no water puddling

Good tool with multiple settings for use in different areas. I think it is better suited for small areas. Price is reasonable.

I've had it for two months now. It's quiet, but the spray pattern can be unpredictable. Sometimes the adjustment dials have no effect on the spray pattern...other times it works fine. The rotation (left/right) works well as is easy to adjust. The sprinkler does not come with a manual or instructions on the box, but it's fairly easy to figure out. One of the side-steps of the zinc-spike broke off already. Overall it's a decent sprinkler, but I'm not sure if I would buy another. We'll see how long it lasts.

Easy to setup and covers my entire front section of lawn. I like the adjustable settings as well.

The item is well made, however, difficult to adjust the sprinkler to the specific area to circle around the area.

I love the concept of it. The design with 6 adjustable settings for any lawn with adequate coverage for a medium back yard. It's perfect. Yet, this is my 3rd that has simply stopped working as intended. The gear inside is actually just a piece of plastic that will snap or bend so that it will no longer rotate. It'll just spray one spot. Grab an Orbit Brass Sprinkler instead. Orbit is a FANTASTIC sprinkler company, but this particular product is mediocre at best.
