Q:Does proslat make an inside corner trim, and if so, what's it called?

A: I have seen no such piece at either offerings by Home Depot or other ProSlat retailers. I can't imagine what such a piece would look like as it would have to be angled such that your Proslat pieces would have to be mitre cut into the corners, not that that can't be done, but then screwing in the slat board in the corner would also have to be done at a 45 degree angle and might impact the fit of the next board on top of it. Proslat is intented to be square cut and fit into corners with overlap. The trim pieces do match up quite well and it still looks good.

A: Proslat does not make an inside corner trim. However, for corners you would use the J-trim that come in the box. For any installation questions, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-691-2944 ext. 215.

A: Not that I know of. I never had to use one in my installations. I don’t see it listed on the proslat.com website. You probably can call them and ask.

A: Yes you can - it's pretty easy to customize. Each of the panels locks together where you see the grooves for the various hooks. So you can easily customize the height of the panels by adding or subtracting panels as you build. You can also customize the width of the panels by cutting them - we used an oscillating tool. The ends, regardless of length, are finished off with J-channel, so it has a nice look to it. We also made neat cut-outs for the electrical outlets. Absolutely love these!!

A: Yes they cut easy as they are like cutting pcv. Becareful with cutting in cold weather asvthey can crack. Take your time and go slow, if you go fast they will also crack. Do so test cuts. You can use a wood blade and it's not necessary to reverse the blade. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy but don't get overconfident, as that'll be the time you'll crack one. Good luck.

Q:Is the system strong enough to hold a push lawn mower?

A: No
by|Dec 18, 2018
A: Hi PM-
That would depend on how much it weighs. Each double/heavy duty hook will hold up to 50 lbs. We recommend using the Super Duty U hook, and 2 of them (for the sake of balance) if you have a mower weighing 100 lbs. or less.
Thank you!

A: The system when properly installed will hold 75 lbs per square foot so a push lawn mower should not be an issue. When you say push lawn mower I assume you are talking about an electric or manual mower that you just want to get up and out of the way. Just make sure you follow the installation instructions and make sure when you screw the panels in place that you are screwing into the wall studs.
