A: There is a tool made to remove the fitting. It's orange and can be found in the same section as the fittings. Just make sure you get the right size. You can also us a crescent wrench. Size the wrench so it fits snuggly on top of the plastic ring. Then compress and it will release.

A: Hi, The SharkBite 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect x MIP Brass Adapter Fitting will not work with your fixture. A SharkBite angle stop or straight stop will work with your fixture. I've attached a link below for both.

A: SHARK BITES ARE THE ONLY QUICK CONNECTORS I HAVE FOUND THAT WORK ON COPPER PIPES… LOOK AT THE PACKAGE AND MAKE SURE WHAT TYPE OF PIPE IT WILL WORK ON… THE CHEAPER CONNECTORS ONLY WORK ON CPVC AND PEX… HOPE IT HELPS.

A: If your copper supply lines are 1/2", then yes. You would slip this over the copper tube, but then you'd have to add an adapter to thread onto the 1/2" male thread. I would be 1/2" Female pipe thread on one side and 3/8" compression thread on the other side. The tubes coming out of the faucet would attach to the 3/8" compression side. Or you could just use this valve: https://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBite-1-2-in-Push-to-Connect-x-3-8-in-O-D-Compression-Chrome-Plated-Brass-Quarter-Turn-Angle-Stop-Valve-23036-0000LF/202270612, or this valve: https://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBite-1-2-in-Push-to-Connect-x-3-8-in-O-D-Compression-Chrome-Plated-Brass-Quarter-Turn-Straight-Stop-Valve-23037-0000LF/202270613

A: I used SharkBite 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect fittings to replace a section of copper pipe and it worked fine. I am not sure if the threaded end will connect to your faucet but if not I am sure you can find an adapter.

A: No, they have PVC Shark Bites
by|May 18, 2021
A: No. PVC physical sizes are larger then CPVC, PEX, or Copper. But, Home Depot does have a similar easy connect fitting for PVC by Sharkbite and Orbit. Search for 206353615 on www.homedepot.com for a sample.

A: You have to use the pvc pipe that is sold to be used with it. Regular pvc pipe I don’t know if that would work with it, I’ve always used the pipe that made for it.
